Monica's POV
every step I'm making towards the restaurant is making my heart beats fast.
Why am I so nervous?,,I'm just here to see my brother.
I came back to reality when Sofia pushed me inside.
"your so slow" She said.
when we entered the restaurant, Chicken smell filled my nosetrils and cold air hit my face.
There was a lot of people talking, laughing, dating and having just a simple family dinner.
and there was a lot of crew serving orders to the customers.
But one of em caught my eye....
A white skinned man aged in 20's and had the same height like me, black hair, was familiar. He's back was on me and when he turned around.
"James?" I whispered.
"James!!!" I yelled but he can't hear me because of the noisy crowd.
"James!!!" I yelled once more walking towards him.
"Monica wait!!" I heard Sofia yelled from behind me but I didn't mind her.
my mind was focused on my brother
"James!!!" I yelled louder than earlier and he turned around to see who was calling him.
As his brown orbs met my dark ones, I felt so happy.
He furrowed his eyebrows and gave me a confused look.
But then his mouth dropped and eyes widened.
"M-monica?" I saw him mouthed.
"James!!!" I said panting and resting my hands on my knees.
I took one big gulp and stood up.
"Sis?" I heard him.
well that word made me flatter the he can still remember that I'm her sister.. ADOPTIVE SISTER
'What are you doing here?" He asked.
"What Am I doing here?? pfft!!! James!! I'm here to look for you!!, we've been searching for you in 5 years!!! where have you been? and why did you left? we were worried sick!,, James!! what has gotten into your mind!!! "
I said raising my voice making some customers whisper and glaring at us.
"Sis, Not here" James said
he grabbed my hand and pulled me at the back of the shop not waiting for me to protest.
"Okay James, Talk!!!" I said raising my voice.
waiting some explanations to come out from his mouth.
he knows that I'm tipsy angry
He took a big sigh and put the tray he was holding earlier between his armpit.
"Sis, I work here,my boss is kinda selfish but I'm sacrificing myself here for the money, I'm planning to go back there in the Philippines but I think its not gonna work" He finished.
"Thats not what I want James,why did you left and why didn't you come back?" I said crossing my arms below my breasts. My patience is wearing thin
He looked down and I cam see that he's very nervous.
"why?" I asked once more cause my patience is wearing thin.
