Mark unconsciously chewed on his lip as he tilted his head slightly to the right. He tapped his pencil on the edge of the table, trying to figure out if he did this right or not. Maybe if he erased....and then replaced it with....no that didn't look right. The male erased his answer with an annoyed sigh. Why did this have to be so complicated?
"Having fun?"
Without removing his attention from the evil piece of paper full of equations, Mark replied. "Oh yeah, I'm having so much fun with these math equations. Did you know letters were apart of these equations? But guess what, that's not the only shocker. I highly doubt we'll be using the quadratic formula outside of college."
The young brunette who stood in the kitchen made his way over to the dining room. He looked over Mark's shoulder, skimming over the page.
"Number 7 and 10 are wrong."
Mark groaned as he erased the answers to both of those questions. "Jinyoung you're smart, why can't you do this for me?" he asked looking over his shoulder.
Jinyoung straightened up, "Because that would be cheating."
"You wouldn't even do it for your best friend?"
"Not even for a best friend."
Mark pouted turning his attention to the piece of paper in front of him. "Some friend you are," he mumbled.
Jinyoung only laughed as he walked back into the kitchen. "Hey that reminds me, have you found a job yet?"
"I've already got two math problems to worry about and bow you're adding in another one? Give me a break, I deserve one," the young male whined deciding to give up on his dumb math homework.
He pushed his chair away from the table, stood up and stretched before making his way into the kitchen to fix himself a glass of water.
"To answer your question, no I haven't found a job yet. I'm really trying but it's just..."
"Difficult?" Jinyoung filled in.
"Yeah, adult life sucks," Mark answered as he filled a cup with water and drained it.
"That's how life works unfortunately," Jinyoung was silent for a moment. "I think I might have an idea on how to get you a job."
"I'm all ears. If I have to become a stripper just to get some money then I'm willing to do it."
"Oh no you won't," Jinyoung snapped, a frown finding its way to his face. "I will not allow that. Ever."
Mark chuckled, "I was joking Jinny. Besides I'm too shy to show any of my skin like that. I don't really have the body for it."
"Actually you do but anyway that's besides the point. I have a friend who's into art and designing and stuff like that. He works on makeup for models and whatnot. I could give him a call and see if he's open to hiring."
Mark smiled, "Really? You'd do that for me?"
"Yeah why not? Plus you are my best friend, I'd do anything for you. Also I know how much you love that type of stuff so it just makes sense," Jinyoung replied.
"Thank you Jinyoung, I don't know how I can repay you."
"A night out for dinner sounds good."
Mark snorted as he walked out of the kitchen, "You're funny."
A look of confusion fell upon Jinyoung's face. "But I'm not joking. Hey Mark I'm serious," the male said as he hurried after the raven haired male.
