Blue looked out her living room bay window. Down at the people on the streets. Like mindless bodies they moved this way and that. None gave any indication that they jostled each other, unless unlucky enough to have a coffee spilt.
Sighing, she pulled on her work uniform, only stopping to grab her apron and shoulder bag on her way out. Pushing her short legs on her small 5 ft delicate frame as fast as she possibly could.
Making her way down the street to the old Dining Shop she works. Nearly 2 years of walking this path and Blue still could not get used to the greasy and burn smells coming from her work place. Opening the door and wrinkling her once as the smells assaulted her she decided she needed a change.
After 12 hours shifts Blue's feet where swollen and tired. Walking up to her apartment Blue noticed a note taped to the door. Not giving it a second thought she walked in. Walking to a big map that she had taped to the wall Blue grabbed a dart and closed her eyes.
Hearing the tall tell thud of the dart hitting the wall behind the map she opened her eyes. Going to the dart , Blue pulled it out , looking at the name of the town.
Well ,though Blue as she started at the map , here I come Willow Tree, Texas. (Not real town)
After quitting her job , selling everything she owned Blue had enough to start over. Loading up her little car she turned one last time taking in everything around her. Getting in she smiled as the city grew smaller and smaller in her review mirror.
A week later Blue was hopelessly lost. Running out of glass she decided to stop in the next town. She sat there as doubt came creeping into her mind about her decision for change . Getting out of her car she looked around. Woman and children coming and going , in and out of shops.
All at once everyone stopped and stared at her. Thanking her Native American parents that no one could see her blush Blue walked into the first shop she could find. As she hurried inside the hairs on the back of her neck stood up . Walking around the old shop Blue was awed at the glass figures all around her.
Turning she noticed people still stared but where discrete about it . As she turned her eyes the most magnificent sight was before her. A glass wolf was staring at her. It wasn't to big or too small. The head of the wolf was tilted to the side just slightly. The chest stood proudly as it was filled with pride. Picking it up she walked to the counter. As the clerk wrapped the glass figure up Blue picked out a light purple velvet box to put it in .
As Blue stepped out of the shop she looked around startled. Gone where the woman and children. Instead where heaps of men. They were everywhere, tall , tallest she had ever seen, and muscular, demanding attention.
Turning to her car Blue's breath caught in her throat as she spotted the tallest of them . His muscles more - he was just more than the rest. He was standing next to her car. Noting that he wore some type of uniform she calmly walked forward.
"Hello c-can I help you ?" Blue asked the man stuttering in her small voice. The man tensed before he turned. As he looked down Blue saw his eyes widen. Why, she wondered?
(Wolfe)
Wolfe tensed before he turned around to see who the soft lovely voice belonged to. His eyes widen as they land on the sound girl. No not a girl but a small delicate woman. And what a woman she was .
Taking her in slowly Wolfe noted her long thick black hair braided and thrown over her left shoulder , her big chocolate brown doe eyes, a small cute button nose , sharp cheek bones yet soft . Large breast for someone of her small frame yet it fit nicely with her curvy waist.
Wolfe bet his bottom dollar that she had a nice plump ass to go with it. Wolfe's mouth started to water at the thought of it shaking in his face.
Clearing his throat along with his head Wolfe looked back down at the adorable , sexy woman before him.
"I'm sorry but you parked in a fire lane." He said pointing at the sign " I'm going to have to give you a ticket." Wolfe said suddenly feeling bad as her full bottom lip poked out ever so slightly. Then taken back at she gave him a smile.
"Its fine , I should have paid more attention , your just doing your job." She said Flashing him another smiled and he saw a very faint red on her golden perfect skin where her shoulder meets her neck. Wolfe silently groaned.
" Um sorry for waiting your time officer um?" She asked slightly embarrassed with a small smile. What a smile it was.
Wolfe felt ten times a fool when he realized he didn't give her his name.Clearing his throat once more he let his Texas drawl " Wolfe. Just call me Wolfe."
Wolfe was rewarded when her lashes fluttered.
"Well Wolfe I'm lookin for a town called Willow Tree , Texas. A-and you see I'm terribly lost." Wolfe felt his grin turn into a full smile
"Well ma- Blue. My name is Blue Wolfe." Oh he liked the way she sighed out his name like that . Wolfe looked to her car , full and looking to small. She must be moving he decided in his head.
Sticking out his hand Wolfe leaned closer to her , almost bending over so he could see her lovely eye's. "Well I reckon a proper welcome is in order." As her hand touched his Wolfe belt his soul shine "Welcome to Willow Tree , Texas Baby Blue."
