Tsukishima's POV

The fighting went on for hours. He heard his parents screaming and throwing things at each other. We wished that it would stop. After ours and hours of pointless fighting, They took it outside and left. It was supposed to be a  family dinner, But it just ended with Tsukishima being alone again. Tsukki went downstairs and locked the door, Front and back, to make sure that They weren't coming in again. He looked out the window to see if their vehicles were still there, And they weren't.

It was often that his parents fought, And they really didn't talk or acknowledge Tsukki when they weren't fighting. Even though they were gone, He could still hear their screaming voices from inside his head. He thought the only way to mute it was to hear something else. He hurried upstairs, went into his room and quickly put on his headphones. He was breathing quickly, His fingers trembling as he connected his headphones to his phone so that the voices would go away. When he finally turned on the music, He immediately got whisked away into his own world.

Pretty soon the screaming and fighting inside his head got louder than his music.. He couldnt stop the sound anymore. This has been happening every night.

He felt like their screams were pounding the way out of his head.. He needed to do something...  He glanced over to his night stand, where he had an emergency knife in case anyone  broke in. He didn't realize his trembling hand reaching for the knife. He wanted to stop.. But their voices took over his brain. He needed it to stop. He rushed to the bathroom and locked the door.

He rolled up his shirt sleeves and placed his first cut. Long and light, stretched far across his right arm. He placed his second cut, the same as the right arm but on his left. The blood starting rushing out of his cuts and the voices faded just a little.

Not enough... Tsukkishima thought to himself. He could still hear the voices and screams. He cut more and more until his arms her almost raw. Everything was going blurry but the voices were still there. Then he heard his phone ringing. He answered with little power left in his hands.

"Hey, Four Eyes! What's up? Kuroo here!" Kuroo's sweet voice came through the phone. Tsukishima dropped to the ground, Loosely holding the phone in his hand, and the knife on the sink.  The voices were all gone, And he had no room on his arms for more cuts.

Tsukki heard distorted words coming from Kuroo. Everything was blurring out and he suddenly regretted it all.. It was too late now though, He couldnt keep his eyes open any longer.

Kuroo POV

Was today the day Kuroo was gonna ask Tsukishima if he liked him the same way Kuroo did? He's been thinking about it ever since Training camp, and has played out many different scenarios in his head.

"Kenma, So i confess to my crush today?" Kuroo asked Kenma who of course, was paying no attention to Kuroo because he was playing video games.

"If you're asking me out, No." Kenma groaned. Kuroo's face flushed red, as he had never thought Kenma would take it that way.

"N-NO!" Kuroo yelled, then sighing. He then remembered he had Yamaguchi's Number from training camp. He had asked for it because he was too nervous to ask Tsukki for his. After he had admitted that to Yamaguchi and Kenma, They both laughed at him, Saying that he should take  lead if he wanted a relationship.

To: Yamaguchi
'Hey, Are you here?'

Kuroo waited for a bit, but soon got bored. He was about to go practice his setting, But then he heard a small ding coming from his phone.

From: Yamaguchi
'Yeah, What's up?'

Kuroo was so happy that Yamaguchi replied so he could get some advice about Tsukishima! He immediately texted back, So he could ask Tsukki out as soon as possible.

To: Yamaguchi
'What type of guy does Tsukishima like?'

From: Yamaguchi
'Kuroo... Just be yourself!'

To: Yamaguchi
'Ok.. But what's his style?'

From: Yamaguchi
'Well.. He doesnt really talk about and love life, And i dont think he's ever been in a relationship, So like I said, JUST BE YOURSELF! Why dont you confess to him over the phone? I can give you his number..'

To: Yamaguchi
'That gives me an Idea! Yamaguchi go to the train station I'm heading to Sendai!'

From: Yamaguchi
'WHAT?'

To: Yamaguchi
'Yeah! You have to take me to his house! I dont know where he lives!'

From: Yamaguchi
'Ok... Here's his number. I  suggest telling him you're coming over.'
'###-###-#####'

To: Yamaguchi
'Thank you soo much, Yamaguchi! I'll probably be there around 6:00.'

Kuroo quickly shut off his phone and  told Kenma he was going to Sendai, And before Kenma could object, he was already out of the door.

*10 minutes to Sendai*

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm going to call him, Like Yamaguchi said. Kuroo thought while dialing in the number that Yamaguchi sent him.

"Hey, Four Eyes! What's up? Kuroo here!" Kuroo said in his sexiest voice ever. He heard a loud thud over the phone.

"Hey! Are you okay? What was that?" Kuroo said worriedly, His voice rushed. He waited long for a reply, But there was nothing but a little static from over the line.

"Tsukki....?" Kuroo was almost shouting into his phone now. The other passengers on the train looked at him wildly, But he didn't care. He knew something was wrong. Suddenly, The line cut out.

"No connection?" Kuroo muttered trying to call him back. No one picked up. He then knew something was terribly wrong. The train slurred to a stop, And Kuroo made sure he was the first person off the train. He ran out to the platform, Calling Yamaguchi's name.

"Right here!" A head poked out of the crowd of people, Waving his hand above all the other heads. Kuroo sprinted over to him, while using a breathing technique to calm himself down. Once he got to Yamaguchi he dragged him out of the crowd and felt calmer, but awful thoughts were in the back of his  head.

"Okay.. Can you show me to His House?" Kuroo said, rushing things mroe than normal because he was worried.  He wasnt planning on telling Yamaguchi about his call. Kuroo was probably just overreacting about the entire situation. The only explanation Kuroo wanted to believe was that  Tsukishima didn't recognize the number and just thought

"Yeah. Lets go." Yamaguchi said. They started walking off. Why are we walking so slow? We need to  speed up! Kuroo thought. He started speeding up, Dragging Yamaguchi behind him. The call still stuck in the back of his mind.

*At Tsukki's House*

-----------------------------------------------------

Kuroo was relieved that they finally got there, he was dreading every second of the long walk. He ran up to the door and pounded on it.

"Someone's excited!" Yamaguchi laughed. Kuroo put on a good fake smile, but was truly worried.

After waiting by the door for about 10 minutes, Yamaguchi's facial expression could clearly be read as worried. His parents aren't over like Tsukki said they would be.. Yamaguchi thought, Getting more worried every second. Kuroo on the other hand was absolutely terrified.

"He was supposed to be having dinner with his family, But none of their cars are here.." Yamaguchi said, breaking the silence. After hearing that statement,  Kuroo  had to use his breathing technique to keep him calm. It also helped to look around a bit, But it only made him more worried. Other than the fact that Tsukki was living in an amazing Two-story house, Everything around it was dead. The fence around the property was rusted. It was an amazing house, but maybe just a little too much too handle because the land they owned is so big. Kuroo still felt worried sick, So he tried to brighten up the mood. He knew Yamaguchi must be worried too, But not the same way Kuroo was worried.

"This is my first time Seeing Tsukishima outside of volleyball." Kuroo said. He was excited, But also nervous. Remembering the way their call ended earlier made him almost nauseous.

"D-Did you call him?" Yamaguchi said, His voice shaking.

"Yeah.. About that. He wasn't speaking or making any noises, and early into the call  I heard a big thud but then got disconnected. I tried calling again multiple times but he didn't pick up." Kuroo explained, seeing Yamaguchi's eyes well up with tears. Kuroo knew that his explanation triggered something for Yamaguchi, because he looked absolutely horrified. He sprinted over to the backyard, and sprinted back holding what looked like an emergency key.

"QUICK. FIND TSUKKI." Yamaguchi cried out, desperately handing Kuroo the key.
