When Jennie woke up, she figured out that Jongin is preparing breakfast because of the savory smell that came from the kitchen.

She decided to go to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face before going to Jongin.

She saw Jongin's back facing her and she walked slowly and hugged him from behind which made Jongin smile. "Good morning. You should've just woke me so that I'll be the one who prepared breakfast for us." Jennie said softly when Jongin faced her.

He smiled brightly at her and kissed her lips. "Good morning to you, love. Did you sleep well?" Jennie shook her head and pout at him.

"It was all good until I woke up without you by my side."She pretended to be angry at him and she glared at him causing for Jongin to wrapped his arms around her.

She looked so cute pretending to be angry at him, and failed to looked angry because of her cute chubby fluffy cheeks. "You woke up at the wrong side of the bed, baby. Lemme make it up to you." He peppered kisses all over her face making Jennie giggle.

"Ah ah! We should eat breakfast first before you make it up to me." She winked at him and pecked his lips making Jongin pout.

Jennie pulled Jongin to sit down on the chair beside her where there are french toasts and two mugs of hot chocolate on the high counter in front of them.

"Don't expect much when it comes to my cooking skills, Jen." Jennie gave her a look before taking a bite of the french toast that Jongin made.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Does it taste bad?" He was anxious because Jennie just keep on eating the first slice of the french toast without saying anything.

"It actually taste good, babe. So you better shut up and eat your french toast because you are going to make it up to me later after we finish our breakfast." She feed him a bite size of her french toast and gave him a peck on his cheek.

"Your french toasts are better than the one that I had made before." She laughed softly and looked at him who is staring at her while smiling.

"No way, Jennie. Yours taste way so much better so stop complimenting my french toast."

"Whatever," She took the last bite on her second piece of french toast and slurped on her hot chocolate. "It's really good and also this hot chocolate." She stand up and winked at him, bringing her empty plate on her left hand while the other is holding her mug and walked towards the sink and put the empty plate.

She turn around to look at Jongin who is slowly eating his french toast while looking at her. "You won't be able to finish your french toast easily because you're looking at me. And it's making you distracted." She laughed when Jongin playfully stick out his tongue at her.

She sat beside him and she ran her hand through his soft hair. "Thank you." Jongin looked at her and his gaze turned soft when he saw Jennie smiling lightly at him.

He held both of her hands and gave it a soft kiss. "You're always thanking me, baby. I never got to say thank you to you, you know." She shook her head and she cupped his cheek and giving it a gentle rub.

"I never thought that someone will treat me like this. Treat me with respect, always coping with me through bad times. Thank you for paying all of Jiyong's debts and giving him that large amount even if he doesn't deserve it. I'll do anything that you want me to do, I don't deserve to be treated like this, Jongin." Now, it was Jongin's turn to shook his head and he kissed Jennie passionately.

"Thank you for being at Irene's bar when I was there too. If I didn't see you on that day, I will still be alone and incomplete. Ever since I
met you again, I became happy and I wasn't expecting that you are that person who will make me happy." Jongin wiped the tears that are flowing down from Jennie's eyes.
