Last night

part 8.

Days past and there was only one day left until the ball. Marinette and Adrien have not seen or talked to eachother in 3 nights. She did not care about him anymore. he played her and did not even care. As she sat on her desk and dug deep into her thoughts she got a text from Luka. Wanna run away for a bit? Marinette smiled and replied. Of course. Pack a swim suit. He texted her. She did as told and tried to take her mind off of Adrien. She got to his place and he directed her to his car. They both got in and all she could do is smile. She was exited but scared at the same time. They had hour long conversations, as she tried to avoid thinking about Adrien throughout the ride. Once they got there they both got out and Luka shut her eyes with his hands. 3..2..1 open your eyes. He said as she looked at the view of the sea. He parked his car at the parking lot and she took her mag and ran to the sand.

No one was at the beach, it was a sunny day and perfect to swim. She took off her dress and placed a towel on the sand as she ran into the water. Luka sat his stuff beside hers took off his shirt and jeans. It was not cold at all over here it was perfect. As Luka ran into the water Marinette was looking up at the sky when Luka held her in his arms and carried her on his back and began to swim deeper in the ocean. Hours past and both of them sat on the sand as the warm water hit their toes as the watched the sun set. It made the sky pink, orange and yellow. She played her head on his thighs and enjoyed the view. As it got darker they started to pack their stuff to head back to the city. She sat down one last time and so did Luka. She turned to him and he gave her a kiss. Her eyes where wide open in surprise but then shut. They both dug deep into the kiss. It was like no other. Right there and then she knew she could spend the rest of her life with this boy. He pulled away from the kiss and she un cupped her hands from his cheeks. Wanna got to the ball tomorrow, together? He asked and right away she smiled and kissed him again making him lie down on his back and she was on top of him. She sat up. Yes of course. They both smiled and continued to make out.

The whole ride home they where both fooling around and having fun together. They stopped at a near by McDonalds to have dinner and they stopped at a gas station for a drink. She forgot all about Adrien in that moment. They got back to Luka's house at 11:33pm. They both settled in bed, Marinette beside him as they cuddled and watched the Kissing booth. 

Adrien woke up the next morning being greeted with breakfast in bed special by Lila. He still felt horrible about the whole situation but it put a smile on his face that Lila made breakfast. She sat beside him and asked. So we are going to the dance tonight am I right? Yea I guess. He answered. What do you mean you guess? She said confused. Of corse you know we will go. He said as he put on a fake smile and turned to her to give her a kiss on the lips. She put aside the tray of food and got on to of him. She started to kiss his neck as Adrien looked up at the ceiling almost lifeless looking back at what he did to Marinette. He could never make it up to her ever.

Marinette woke up to Luka fiddling with her hair with his index finger. She looked up at him and smiled. His arm still around her as he sat up to get water for them both. Marinette sat up and checked the messages on her phone. Alya texted me saying that she got a table for us 4. Marinette said as Luka walked back in the room. He smiled and sat beside her once again.

Marinette left shortly after since Alya was going to pick her up to pick out dresses for tonight. Hey Alya! Marinette said as she got into the car parked infant of Lukas apartment. So who is your little plus one? Alya asked in curiosity and a smirk. Luka. She had a direct answer. Oh really? Alya asked in surprise. Yes ma'am. Once they got to the mall Alya quickly fell in  love with a light orange 2 piece dress. The top part was a laced orange tube tone and the bottom was a silk skirt that went up to her knees. Marinette went all to a bunch of. store but still found nothing. Then in one particular boutique she found a pretty pink dress with lace, a flower pattern and something you would find in a Disney movie. Wow it really screams you Marinette! Alya said as she went to go pay for it. Marinette smiled in satisfaction as they both walked out of the mall. She was exited for tonight. They both went to a spa to get their hair and mails done. They only had 2 hours left to head to Chloes mansion. Marinette got her nails pained white while Alya got her nails painted white french tipped. Marinette got her hair professionally curled up on her ends and Alya got her her hair curled up and put into a high ponytail.

They both got their dresses on and got into Alyas car. They both blasted music and sang along exited for the ball. They got out and where both escorted inside by Luka and Nino waiting at the door.
