The car pulled up into the driveway of a picturesque 19th century small but comfortable mansion. Calling it beautiful would be an understatement. It was surrounded by the prettiest garden Jungkook had ever seen, the house itself looked like it came straight out of the Victorian era. It wasn't overly grand but it wasn't small either. It was a ten bedroom mansion with large windows and a red brick Victorian exterior, complimented with a splendid outdoor fountain in the style of the same Victorian era theme as the house itself. Needless to say, Jungkook couldn't believe he was going to be living here now.

His old home wasn't bad but it surely wasn't this cool, either. It was a simple, petite, two bedroom appartement that he lived in with his parents. That was until his parents got divorced when he was five and his mother moved out. His dad, Jeon Hoseok, got custody of him after the divorce and he continued to live in that apartment with his father but times became hard and his father got laid off from his job. Hoseok became incapable of paying rent and was evicted from his apartment with his son.

In Jungkook and Hoseok's time of need, Hoseok's best friend, Kim Namjoon, who he'd known for a few years now, was more than happy to provide them with shelter until Hoseok got back on his feet, financially.

Namjoon was a 32 year old widower and soon-to-be father. His husband died a couple months ago in a car accident. They had been married for five years, and a year ago, they decided that they wanted to have a baby. Namjoon was now pregnant; they were both very ecstatic, but that joy was cut short when he received a call one evening three months ago, informing him that his husband had been in a car accident and unfortunately didn't survive.

Namjoon was devastated.

There was a point during those three months where he wondered what the point of everything was. Life had lost all meaning to him when the love of his life was taken away from him, untimely. He wasn't sure he could go on nor did he want to, but Hoseok was there to help him through it. Hoseok spent everyday reminding Namjoon that life was worth living, if not for himself, then for his unborn child. Now, he was nine months pregnant and although still struggling with the death of his husband, he was in a much better place than he had been two months ago.

When Namjoon heard the sound of a car pulling up in her driveway, he knew it had to be Hoseok and Jungkook, especially since he wasn't expecting anyone else. He quickly made his way out of his home to go welcome them.

As soon as Jungkook saw Namjoon step out of the house, he quickly hopped out of the car and ran to him to give him a hug. Seeing that Hoseok and Namjoon were best friends, Namjoon was also very close to Jungkook too. He was even his godfather.

"Jungkook, honey, how are you?" Namjoon asked as Jungkook stood next to him and gave him a side hug, scared that he would hurt the baby if he hugged him from the front. He'd been giving him side hugs only, ever since Namjoon's baby bump started to show months ago.

"Uncle Joonie! I really missed you!" Jungkook beamed, smiling so widely that it reached his eyes, making them form little crescents.

"You see me every weekend, honey" Namjoon teased. Namjoon and the Jeon family always hung out on weekends. It was almost like a tradition. They'd been doing it since they became friends years ago even before Namjoon's husband passed away, even before Hoseok and his wife got divorced.

"So I can't miss you because I see you on the weekends?" Jungkook pouted, looking up at Namjoon who ruffled his hair and cooed at him in adoration.

"I'm betting you only miss me because I always give you candy" Namjoon teased again, and Jungkook giggled.

"The candy only makes me miss you more, I'd miss you even if you didn't give me candy but I wouldn't have missed you as much, though" Jungkook teased back, making the pregnant man chuckle.
