Extra chapter: Memories of the Past (1)

Shikidai POV:

I sigh, this all is a drag, my life is all a drag, being waking up by an angry mom, following orders from dad, lazy all the time, having to deal with problems that might let you be crazy

I was literally late for school by 10 minutes so I took a bus, man even the school is such a drag for me, I sat down on one of those chairs that is near the window you can say the best seat ever, but my happiness was just for a few seconds when I saw an old granny that might fall searching for a seat

I sigh as I called her "hey granny you can sit in my place"

She looked at me with a smile "thanks for you"

My seat was taken by an old granny well in our society that would call sacrificing my health but helping someone and sacrificing your own happiness is what they call

A while later, I arrived to the school as I walked to Top A room as I opened the door, to find only boruto sitting there reading that Icha Icha thing, I sigh as I walked closer and sat on my place

"So what's up" he said

"Nothing much" I replied

I sigh as I looked at the table to find the shōgi game so I asked

"Why is there a shōgi here?"

"Well I bought it, thinking that maybe you would want to play a match" he answered

Thinking back, this game really saved our life when we're kids, if I recall correctly it all started when

17/7 It was one of those hot summer days having vacation is what all students dream off so most people spend their times doing some kind of sports like swimming and other troublesome things

I sigh, as I looked at the shōgi pieces, dad had literally challenged me to solve this case, if you ask my opinion this all is drag but since I don't have anything to do I accepted the challenge, my thought was interrupted by dad voice

"Hey" he said

"What's up dad?" I asked

"just done doing some paper work" he said as sat beside me

"It seems you're taking my challenge seriously" he said

"Yeah" I said

"So how much possibilities have my son created for this case" he asked

"There are three possibilities but they all lead for sacrificing one of the pieces" I said

I looked at him as dad looked at the shōgi I thinks he is recalling something from the past

"You don't want to sacrifice one of the pieces Shikidai?" He asked

"Not that I want, but if you were to sacrifice one of your friends wouldn't it be sad" I replied

There was such a silence between us but it was broke when dad asked me

"Shikidai if the pieces of the shōgi where to be people who do you think is the king?" He asked

"The king, would it be the government" I replied

"Well for anyone that would be true but if you think carefully and knew the answer for it, would you think right now that sacrificing one if this pieces would have a point" he said as he stood up

"When the time comes and you figure out who is the king I will teach the climbing sliver" he said

That was weird I thought, why would He suddenly came up with this? Plus how it is related to this game? But the most confusing thing was the thing he mentioned (climbing sliver), it seems that this climbing sliver thing is related to his past
