FINALLY!!

SHANE'S POV

My heart skipped a beat coupled with wide eyes and open mouth.The nausea was now clear to me.

I was lost and my body froze, unable to believe my eyes. It was as if fantasizing.Slightly landing my upper body towards Nick, I whispered hurriedly. “Nick! amdaydreamingagain!" Still facing the lady in front us.

Jordan joins in between almost touching our head and says in a whispering tone. "Sorry but I've fallen for her or am I infected with your germs,am daydreaming?" I throw a look of disgust at him whereas Nick snickers.

  

To confirm, I ask the ladies."Do you see the same as us?" And they give the conformation while nodding in utter shock.

I face the lady asking rather than confirming."Is it really you?”

looking stunning in the beautiful white gown with floral embroidery of pastel palette and a glint of makeup enhancing her features.

She simply nods her head which makes the ladies jump in excitement and engulf her in a bare hug,later making us curious by asking her several questions. 

Whereas I kept quiet and my heart sighs with relief seeing her safe and sound my mouth tight shut unable to utter a word.

Nick: "Mia! You here!"

Jordan: "oh! It's you. Thank God I am not infected.” sighs a relief.

With this, Jordan once again attracts my attention throwing daggers at him which made everyone laugh.

I peer at Mia who is blushing hard with her head bowed, her black silk threads almost covering her face.

"What! it's you who created this mess." Jordan asserts with disgust to me. 

He faces Mia sidelining me and Nick while approaching her grabbing her palms in his huge ones.”Thanks you.Thank you so much Mia for showing up. I was really sick of him, YOUR MAN has gone crazy” Jordan thanks her,feeling wronged by me.

"From the past 6 months, he has been hallucinating and romancing with me and Nick thinking, it's you."

"Jordan, you disgust me." Nick joins him while making weird faces.

"Stop embarrassing me!!" I say to Jordan with a glare and embarrassed look.

Mia was blushing hard like a rose.Strange,She hasn't uttered a word till now. 

"Mia you here! Let me guess, did you get the catering order or are you managing the catering stuff ?" Cathy asks Mia in excitement while approaching her and holding her palms in her's.

I see Mia's expression that clearly said "no" she was gonna say something but was cut off by Nicole." If that's the matter then I am happy. We could spend some time with you. We missed you soooo much." She then engulfs Mia in a side hug.

Mia was trying to speak again and again but couldn't even utter a single word as everyone was bursting at her. 

"My poor girl".I self-talk.

Omg! That sounds cringe.This is for sure that I've become very possessive towards her and why not. I've lost her once for 6 months and I can't afford to lose her again. 

I interrupt and say "stop bursting up on her, she's not a criminal getting interrogated. Let her speak."

" Look, someone's being possessive and all, huh!!" Cathy says while smirking

I roll my eyes in disbelief. 

"Okay we’ll let the queen speak for our majesty," Jordan says with a huge creepy smile on his face.

"JORDAN!" I gave him a warning.

He says, "Okay. Okay" and acts like he is zipping his mouth. 

Nicole questions Mia out of the blue."wait! Mia! Please don't say that you're the bride of Mr Wilson?" my heart sinks in an instant.

"Just look at you.A custom made white gown with all the detailing and people calling you Wilson!" With this,I almost felt my grave.

Mia shook her head in a big No.Which gave me confidence making me state in a warning tone.

"stop giving me a heart attack. Please let her speak!" 

Mia finally opens her mouth to utter something but is cut off when suddenly the lights turn off. And is focused on the dice of the central hall.
