The story began when a little girl’s father died.  Her mother not knowing what to do and fearful, left.  This little girls name was Linda, she was two years old when her mom left her to fend for herself in a small home.  Life was hard but Linda was stronger.  She was incredibly smart, she could do anything and she could do it by herself.  Linda was fearless.

However Linda suffered many things.  She was very poor and had no friends, but she was determined to survive.  Linda found ways to trick the school system into thinking that she was not alone, although she was lonely she did not want to be put in an orphanage.  She heard terrible rumors about them and thought that living on her own was far better.  To stay out of orphanages and off the streets, she found pity work.  It was very challenging for her to find a job not many people would take an eight year old for work.  However, she managed to get jobs to keep her alive.  Sadly she had to find many jobs and went to bed very tired,  staying in her cycle of poverty.

One afternoon Linda found a job application that lead to a rich woman's house.  The rich women was not super eager to except a nine year old as her maid but decided to give her a chance.  Linda worked day and night doing everything the lady asked of her.  Not long after that the women became very impressed and fond of Linda.  Since Linda had the job of being a maid she could no longer go to school because she needed the money to survive.  Therefore Linda lived off the rich lady.  One day, while Linda was working, the lady of the house saw that Linda’s clothes were old and torn, so she called her and asked, “Do you want to go shopping for some new clothes, I will pay?”  Linda replied, “No, no I like the way my life is even if I am poor and have to work hard it teaches discipline.  I am used to living this way, but thank you, really thank you I really appreciate it!”  Then as she started walking away the women began to weep, tears were streaming down her eyes, and she kept on looking at Linda.  Missing her daughter who would be around Linda’s age.  Linda began to cry to, she asked to be excused and went to her living quarters in the house.  She was also wishing something.  She was wishing that her mom and dad were there with her.

Part 2

Two weeks later there was a knock at the door of the rich woman's house where Linda was staying.  When she opened the door it was the woman's lawyer.  He came to discuss some things with the women.  Linda served him some juice while the women was busy with some other matters.  The lawyer getting impatient proclaimed, “please call your mother I need to speak with her”.  Linda replied, “she is not my mother.  I don’t have a mother.  I am just her maid (And friend Linda thought).”  The lawyer stared at her and responded, “But you look like her, just like her.”  Linda remarked, “That does not mean she is my mother.  Ask her if she has had a child before!”  Then the women of the house walked in and dismissed Linda.  “Hello”, she exclaimed gladly and they greeted each other.  Then she asked, “So why have you called this meeting, is something wrong”?  “No,no nothing is the mater.  It’s just that I have been your lawyer for eight years now and I know basically nothing about you.”  “Well”,she proposed conversationally, “what do you want to know?”  “I was just wondering about your family, if you had kids or not and what about a husband?”  Then they came, tears streaming down her face like a waterfall.  The lawyer compassionately offered her a box of tissue that was out on on the table.  She thanked him and then began to tell the story of her life.

Part 3

It was more than halfway through my senior year of high school when I began to date a really cute guy.  He was on the varsity football team and he was called by the name of Dew (stops to clear her throat and then continues).  Dew loved me and wanted to marry me but I refused.  I felt too young and was not ready.  All the girls fell in love with him and I began to hate him.  Everyday I kept on telling him to leave me alone because I no longer liked him.  One day I told him I was moving and he got very mad at me.  I didn't care though and are family moved.  In the new state we moved to I met a different guy at high school.  Alex was my dream guy loving, compassionate, and strong.  I really loved him and he loved me. later that year a drastic thing happened.
