"Mamma I'm going to go over to the Mousekewitz's house to see Tanya, " I told my Mamma as I bounced into the kitchen to see her washing dishes. "Is that alright with you Mamma?" I asked anxiously waiting for her to reply.
Mamma turned her attention away from the dishes and to me, she gave me a warm smile which I returned bouncing on my heels excitedly.
"Of course darling," Mamma says with a slight giggle as she watches me jump up and down with excitement. "You can also get some groceries from the market as well, Tanya can help if she wants too."
She quickly grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and wrote down what we needed for the house. I didn't pay attention because I was nodding my head happily because I get to spend time with Tanya today. I happily grabbed the list for supplies and started going for the door before quickly remembering something, turning around I quickly ran and hugged and kissed Mamma before grabbing my basket and running out the door.
"By Mamma!" I called out and then closed the door.
