Alastor was humming while reading a book, he was watching the little ones play with the toys.
He was a mature 12 year old
He watched as husk laid down on the floor while angeldust attempt s to drag him
He watched as vaggie was letting charlie and niffty do her hair
Alastor chuckles and continues to  read.
After a little while his ear flicks as he hears something, he gets up and walks to the noise and the noise is you playing in what appears to be a lake
"Y/N! Why are you in the water? Get out of there you're going to get yourself sick"
you look at him and gesture at the water
"Hm? What about the water?"
You get out the water and you get your notepad and write on it,
"The water is clean, there may be fish but, other than that it's clean"  you show Alastor and he pauses and takes a moment to read it

"Your mother came here when you were a baby didn't she?"

You nod

"I'm sorry for your loss dear, she was a good woman. She really was."

You write
"Yeah, she was but, I'm just glad I'm not with my dad"

Alastor laughs
"Ah yes, your..."father" he was.. a rather rude person to you but I'm just glad we're here.."

You both stare at the lake for a moment
You write down
"I'm glad I have you al"
he paused and looks at you for a moment

His smile becomes more sincere
"I'm glad to have you too♥️"

✨Bonus✨
The view is ruined by the sound of crying
"Oh god, the others!"
He picks you up and runs to the others

"What happened?"
Alastor exclaimed

Charlie Is crying

"Why is charlie crying?" 
Alastor asked

You look at angel and vaggie fighting
you tap alastor
"Hm?"
You point at the two
"Oh thank you dear, angel!, vaggie! Stop fighting this instant!"
Vaggie yells
"he started it!"
Angel yells
"No! she started it! she stepped on fat nuggets's tail!"
vaggie yelled
"I said I was sorry!"
They continued to yell at eachother while Alastor is trying to comfort a crying charlie while you suddenly break, and yell

"THAT'S ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!"
you pick up vaggie and put her next to Al and you give smol fat nuggets to angel
"There. Now stop yelling"
Alastor sighs in relief
"Thank you dear."
"You're welcome strawberry mommy"
"Harhar, very funny (y/n)."
You respond
"I'm serious al! Look!"
you point to a peacefully sleeping charlie in al's arms
"Hm. I honestly thought it wouldn't work."
"That's what you get for assuming, dummy"
you tease
Al just rolls his eyes fondly and stares at the sleeping charlie
"I'm actually beginning to enjoy this..."
Alastor says
you smile and say
"Me too..♥️"
