Lost In Snow

Prologue

  "Find him, if you don't then you will be shown no mercy as the law of the hunters speaks"

      In the guild job importance is based on who asks, knowledge given, and how tight were the requirements. There were four guilds one for each season but as times changed and the world grew a fifth guild was built to help all and be immune to the rules of the other guilds.  A blue job was for assisting only, red was for guarding, yellow was to guard higher ups, orange treasure hunting, gold protecting royalty, silver transferring criminals, and copper bounty hunting. 

        Bounty hunting is seen as beyond criminal so its only used in extreme cases, one hunting escaped criminals (which is rare), two hunting assassins, three hunting the enemy (Not much of those now days after some years), and four to find lost/missing people. To fail at any of the bounty hunter missions means your head will be taken and your heart destroyed so you may never have a next life, as this is the law of the world of magic.

      Destiny O'Brien was raised from birth to be a bounty hunter, as infants a few human children are taken when there parents give them away in trade for riches, magic, or power. The few human children they take they train to handle the bounty hunting as it is as seen as low for even there criminals, some may go there entire life with no job and others get a job but only a few have actually succeeded.  They few that have passed are given the option to continue or to be set free back to world of man, most choose to stay and keep hunting even though it is highly unlikely that they will get another job. 

      Destiny was summoned for her first job, as they rank the bounty hunting missions by importance. The more important the hunt is the higher the cost for failure is, and she was just handed a priority 1 hunt. To find a man and bring him to the summer courts no questions no answers no nothing just get the job done or risk an eternity of pain.
