❝ hey jimin, mind following me after science, fourth period? i have something to show you. ❞ jungkook glanced over to jimin and smiled, showing off his pearly bunny teeth.

jimin looked over to his friend taehyung to make sure it was okay to leave him after their shared lesson, he received a nod back.

❝ i don't see why not. ❞

fourth period rolled around and jimin followed taehyung into their science lesson, greeting their teacher, ms lee and sitting in their assigned seats.

❝ afternoon class, due to having assignments due in for next week, ❞ the students all groaned, ❝ we won't be doing anything important these next few lessons, revising to be exact. ❞

taehyung turned to jimin and pulled a face of annoyance making jimin laugh silently. jimin knew his best friend despised revising for assignments but he knew it had to be done to receive good grades.

❝ so, open up your laptops and- ❞

ms lee's sentence was cut short as the intercom in the corner of the room turned on. slowly followed by a deep voice, also known as the principle.

❝ as principle of your school, i want all students and teachers to evacuate the building immediately, the science facility- -outbreak of- -unknown virus-❞

taehyung and jimin rushed to sling their bags over their shoulder and hurriedly made their way to the exit of their classroom.

❝ jimin, taehyung! hold on! ❞

the pair spun round to see jungkook waving his hands while running to catch up with them. they stood still while ushering him to hurry so they could leave like originally planned.

❝ what's all the commotion about? i heard there was an outbreak of an unknown virus at the science facility a few blocks from here but i didn't know it was deadly. ❞

the sound of students screaming interrupted jungkook's speaking as jungkook turned around, the sight was unbearable. the only thing that covered his eyesight was blood and dismantled limbs.

the bodies of students slowly turned into the bodies of monsters with their jaws hanging slack from their face and their limbs dragging by their side.

jungkook put his hands over jimin's eyes before he could see the murderous scene he witnessed a second before, not wanting to disturb him anymore then he probably was from the situation.

❝ don't look back jimin, just run! ❞

❝ what about you jungkook? ❞

❝ i'll be right behind you, i promise! follow taehyung, he knows where to take you. ❞

jimin grabbed a hold of taehyung's hand and ran after the exit while jungkook stayed behind them, making sure nothing was following them. thankfully, jungkook came into no contact with the undead so he ran to catch up with jimin and taehyung.
