Chapter 12

I woke up and I was in the Hale loft surrounded by Derek,Peter and Lydia. I stood up and landed flat on my ass. 'Guess I was on a bed' I thought.

"Duh. Why would we leave you to lie on a floor?" the voice I've been waiting to hear rung in my ears. Cora. I looked up and saw her standing there with a smile on her face. A smile grew on my face as I leaped up and wrapped my arms around her neck, planting my lips on hers. I felt her arms snake around my waist and hug me.

"It's amazing to hear your voice again" I squealed. She laughed and put me down.

"It's amazing to let you. I've heard your voice the entire time. I just....couldn't speak" she said and I chuckled and slapped her across the face. Lydia came up to me and grabbed my arm.

"Why'd you do that? I thought you were happy we saved your girlfriend" Lydia questioned me. Cora stepped up and looked at her.

"Don't worry. I totally deserved that" Cora told Lydia.

Lydia looked quite confused and asked "Why would you deserve that"

"Because I couldn't speak but I could telepathically talk with my mate so she has a valid reason to slap me" Cora explained. Lydia found this unbelievably but went along with it. Out of the dark, Ethan came out and stood by Lydia. I wrapped my arms around his torso as he wrapped me in a hug.

"We thought you were dead" he said.

"Why?" I asked with concern.

"Because you wouldn't wake up. Peter even punched you and you didn't wake up" he said and I smiled and tuned around only to connect my fist with Peter Hale's jaw and I swear I heard a crack.

"Now we're even" I said and turned back to the rest of the group."What is going on?" I asked.

"Kali's coming and Aiden is coming with her" Ethan said.

"Good enough for me" Derek said and I looked at him eyes widened.

"Derek?" Peter asked.

"You want me to run?" Derek asked with a eyebrow raised.

"No. I want you to stay here and get slaughtered by a psychotic foot fetish of an alpha" Peter said sarcastically and I cracked a smile."Of course I want you to run" he said."Sprint,gallop,leap your way the hell out of town" he finished.

"If you wanna fight and die for something. That's fine with me, but make sure it's meaningful" Cora said entwining out hands. I leaned my head against her shoulder as she leaned hers on top of mine. Lydia smiled at the sight of us and looked at our hands. Derek looked at Peter with a questioning look.

"How do you know I'm gonna lose?" Derek asked Peter with a smirk.

"I don't....but, I'll bet she has an idea" Peter replied and looked at Lydia."Don't you, Lydia?" he asked with a smirk. I growled at him and grabbed Lydia by the forearm.

"I don't know anything" she said.

"But you feel something, don't you? What do you feel?" he questioned and she was staring into space and her eyes were getting glossy but not the tears kind, staring into the moon kind.

"I feel.....like I'm standing in a graveyard" she said and we all stared at her..

"Ok. It's gonna be a graveyard if you guys don't get out of here" Peter said and Cora and Derek grabbed their bags.

"Wait, you guys are leaving?" I asked and Derek nodded.

"We need to. Until Kali goes away" Derek said to me.

"You guys need to go. She's about 5 miles away. Running" I said.

"How do you know" Ethan asked me.

"She's my sister, dumbass. I'm supposed to know" I said and turned to Cora and Derek."I'll see you guys when you get back" I said giving them both a hug."Stay safe and watch your brother. You Hales have a way of getting yourself killed" I said and we laughed.

"I will" she said and walked towards the door."I miss you " she said and waited for me to reply.

"I'll miss you to" I said and she smiled and I placed a kiss in her lips and then we walked separate ways. I watched until she went out of sight and then the door banged open. In walked Kali and Aiden.

"Where is he" Kali asked and Lydia snaps her fingers.

"I think he said he's gone out shopping" Lydia said with a questioning look at me.

"Yeah, a...usual werewolf afternoon" I finished and Kali growled at us.

"Who do you think you're talking to" Kali growled.

"Someone in the desperate need of a pedicure" Lydia said and I nodded.

"Lydia would be happy to give you a referral" I finished her sentence. She looked at me and walked towards Lydia making Aiden growl. She turned to him and smirked.

"Oh. It looks like someone took their assignment to seriously" she joked.

"She's not the problem" Aiden growled and then the sun roof shattered making the glass go everywhere while scar face Jennifer was in the middle of it all.

"So....who's first" she said, lifting her head with a smirk and looking around. Kali shifted and they started fighting. I jumped in and slapped Jennifer in the back of her head, Turing her attention to me and I punched her face. She grabbed my wrist and squeezed it tightly that I couldn't feel anything. I screamed and kicked her feet from under her. Kali grabbed her by the neck but Jennifer kicked her into a wall and grabbed my neck throwing me into Kali. We got up and she stared at us."Look at my face. Kali,look at me" she said and Kali looked at her with a mad look."This is my face. It takes power to get this. It.Takes.Power " she said."Something you'll never have" she taunted and lifted the glass pieces with her hands.

"I should've-I should've-I SHOULD'VE RIPPED YOUR HEAD OFF" Kali shouted and Jennifer screamed in frustration and threw her hands forward, aiming the glasses at Kali. The glass went towards Kali and I jumped and tackled Kali to the ground, making the glass go into the wall. Jennifer stared at us and walked towards us. She grabbed Kali's head and banged it on the wall, knocking her unconscious. She looked at me and smirked but it dropped and her eyes widened when I flashed my eyes at her. She turned and walked towards Lydia. The twins decide to growl and the stat to interact into Megatron Alpha. But Jennifer goes and pulls them apart,breaking their necks in process making Lydia scream at the sight. She then turns back to Lydia.

"What's the line coach likes to say? The bigger they are" Jennifer said.

"What do you want" Lydia asked with tears welling down her face.

"I want you to do what you do best, Lydia. I want you to scream" she said. Lydia stayed quiet and Jennifer got irritated."SCREAM FOR ME" she shouted and Lydia let out an ear piercing scream, making me cover my ears and everything went white then pink then black.
