When Aurel woke up, he was in an abandoned house. How did he know? Well, if he didn't he would've been called an idiot.
The surroundings were dark, the only source of light were the broken windows that were emitting from the outside. Dust covered all around him, the furniture was old and didn't seem to be useful. It seemed like this place was not cleaned in a very long time.
Aurel looked at himself. From his hands, he could tell that it was the hands of a child. Bruises covered his body, pain emitting from them. Something was also wrong with his head, it aches badly. From what he could tell so far, Aurel figured that this body is in quite a mess. Thinking of this he couldn't help but sigh.
"System." He called weakly.
[Yes, host?] The system replied with its usual flat tone.
"My body hurts, my head hurts, my stomach hurts... Do you know I hate pain?" Aurel sulked.
[Oh. A reminder host, the gangsters will be back in an hour.] The system ignores him as he reminded him about his new tragic life.
"To beat me up?"
There was a slight hesitation before Aurel heard an answer, [Yes.]
"Oh." He sighed.
Waiting for another five minutes, Aurel finally got up and looked around. His steps were slow as his legs were shaking.
"It hurts..." Aurel muttered quietly before sighing again. He could see the bleak future waiting ahead of him. <What a luck...>
The first thing he went to go see was the washroom. Do you think he could live without taking a shower? The answer is no. There was nothing he hates more than sweat, or actually there is— people.
Aurel walked from door to door to find a washroom. From this, he found that the house was a one story; with two bedrooms, one washroom, and a kitchen connected with the living room.
When Aurel walked to the washroom, he couldn't help but feel fearful. The washroom was very dirty with dust and cobwebs everywhere. It was certainly not a place for humans. His heart became even more fearful when he checked if the water had worked— sure enough, it didn't.
Aurel couldn't help but complain to the system, "You must really want me to suffer..."
[Nonsense.] Replied the system.
"Say, is my looks okay? You don't know, but humans are... very shallow. If they see that you're handsome, they treat you better than those who are ugly. I would certainly need this for the mission..." Aurel smiled.
[....] The system was speechless. <Are you sure it's not because you also like being beautiful?!>
"So? How does this body look?"
