Pet shop

I was getting lonely in my apartment so I decided to go to a pet shop and look there to see if I bonded with any of the animals. I took a shower, got ready and dresses in gray sweatpants and a white crop top. I put on my af1s
and call an Uber.

The Uber arrives and I get in. They drive me to the pet shop. I get out thank them and go inside. I immediately go to the cat section. I see a grey cat with white around their eyes. I look at the tag. Name:Lola
Age:2 months
Gender:Female
I put my hand up to the cage and she puts her head against the metal bars where my hand is.

"Hey Lola:)" I say speaking to the cat.

I hear a light meow. I go up to the front desk and ask if she's available.

"Is Lola in the cat section available for adoption? "

"Yes! Actually. Would you like to adopt her?." The worker responds.

"Id love to. "

*time skip to when she takes her home after shopping and adopting her bc I'm lazy*

I get home and get my place set up. I got her this play house thingy

I build that and it took me at least an hour and a half. Once I'm done she climbs the ladder and goes inside on of the baskets. Awh:) I thought to myself. I should tell maihua.  I facetimed her and she picked up after the second ring.

"Hey!" I say to maihua.

"Hey Bubba" She responds.

All of a sudden I started blushing. I like that nickname.

"I present to you something legendary!" I say before I switch the camera.

I show her my new cat Lola.

"AWHHHH IT'S FRICKIN ADORABLE IM COMING TO SEE IT IN PERSON  RN" she tells into the phone.

"It's so cute like omg-" I say to myself.

She hangs up.

Maihuas pov:

I grab my keys and run to my car. K can't stop thinking about the cat it's so cute like- I drive to Val's place and knock on the door. She greets me with a smile while she's holding the cat.

"Hand it over" I say

She hands it to me, i hold it securely not letting go. She meows and rubs the top of her head against my chest
I smile.

"This is our baby now okay? Ok" I say while putting the cat down.

"Ok whatever you say" Val responds.

We sit on the couch and watch Netflix. Its a hour and a half late and I look over to her to see she's asleep.

"Awh" I think to myself.
