The Mark

It was Emily's 16th birthday and the day started as it normally did. She got out of bed and got dressed, Jeans and a white crop top with baby blue shoes. After she pulled her hair into a bun she headed down stairs for breakfast, but before she did she walked past the mirror. When she walked past the mirror she saw something that looked like a red moon on her neck, it was the mark of the Alpha. Her father is the alpha of her pack, the blood moons, so she thought one of her brothers would get the mark but never in a million years that she would. She ran down stairs and immediately ran into her eldest brother Anthony.
"Whoah, slow your roll birthday girl. What's the rush?" He smiled down at Emily as he said this.
"I HAVE THE MARK!" She yelled with a mix of fear and excitement in her voice.
"What? What mark-" Emily pointed to her neck and her brother stopped talking mid sentence. "The alpha mark." He breathed in astonishment.
"I know! I don't know why but I have the mark!" She was getting excited now and could barely keep her voice down.
"What's all the noise about in here?" Her brother closest to her age, Michael, came into the room now.
"Emily got the alpha mark!" Anthony said with joy as he picked his baby sister up in a hug. Michael got a huge grin on his face and called for everyone else telling them what happened.
"GUYS GET IN HERE EMILY GOT THE ALPHA MARK!" In confusion her other two brothers came in from the kitchen as her dad exited his office.
"What?" Her twin brothers, Jeffery and James, said at the same time. A look of confusion and happiness took control of both their faces.
"I knew you where the strongest out of them love, congratulations babygirl." Her dad says as he wraps her in a hug.
   They spent the rest of the morning celebrating it since Emily never goes to school on her birthday. All of them were so happy for her, but they all feared the thing that was to come next, her finding her mate.
