Space mistletoe

Laughter filled the living room while young blonde couldn't stop laughing at Leo's imitations of Captain Ryan - turtle's favorite character from show Space Heroes, which Leo could watch for hours and never get bored of it.

Same as Lily could never get bored of hanging out with Leo. Spending time with him brought her as much joy as kids felt on Christmas morning when opening their presents, they never know what surprise were hidding in the boxes.

Neither Lily nor Leo were aware of a little green surprise hiding above them from the ceiling.

"Eat my space dust, pew- pew- pew-" using his finger guns Leo copied Captain Ryan movements in front of the TV, before doing a backflip which impressed Lily, who couldn't stop laughing from beginning of the episode.

"Hahahah I guess his weapon of choice would be pew pew guns" Lily laughed along with Leo "Pew- pew guns-" blue turtle chuckled thinking about it as he looked back at TV gasping

"OH here comes my favorite part- Now Captain Ryan will use his gun to shoot the corner of the rock which will block out and towards the enemies ship,making it explode as Ryan and his crew celebrate their victory" Leo explained as it was exactly what happened, with a big explosion to end episode before end credits rolled.

Lily clapped to Leo's knowledge before looking at blue masked turtle "You really know each episode of Space Heroes don't you?" "Hah you bet!" Leo replied with a proud smile what made Lily smirk

"I bet you don't know the episode where Captain got hit by a pillow?"

With a confused look Leo looked over Lily "But he never got hit by- oof" soft pillow which Lily throw on Leo hit his face "Now he did" Lily replied with a smirk starting a pillow fight.

"Oh ho ho ho, and have you watched the episode where princess got ticklish visit from Mr. turtle?" Leo smirked back at Lily wondering if she was ticklish.

Realizing what Leo meant,Lily immediately jumped up from couch while grabbing a pillow to protect herself "Don't you even dare- or this princess will slap you harder than Captain Ryan slaps Crankshaw" she threatened but it only made Leo laugh

"Hah since when are princesses dangerous? Is this a declaration to war?"

"War for galaxy it is then" Lily said before marching towards Leo as the pillow fight begun.

Both teens swung their pillows left and right, laughing and shouting the lines from the show as the pillow fight got more intense with each moment that passed by.

It was all fun and games,until Leo used his chance to swipe Lily off her feet,making her fall down to the couch.

"You were good,but there can only be one captain of the ship" Leo said about to raise the pillow to do a final blow as Lily gasped "Oh- it's just heroic act to threaten a princess"

"Hey, you started first and now I gotta end this war" playfully rolling his eyes Leo raised his pillow, about to reply but the pillow hit something green and made it swing a little above their heads what caught his and Lily's attention.

It was a mistletoe.

But what was it doing there and who set it up? Looking up and seeing Donnie's bo staff to which the mistletoe was attached to, both Leo and Lily got their answer - Donnie must have set it up to get a kiss from April

"Oh Donnie-" Leo and Lily chuckled at the same time while a blush appeared on both of their faces.

They both knew what being under a mistletoe meant,but non of them said anything as the awkward silence filled the air.

"You know-" Leo suddenly broke the silence, throwing his pillow on the floor "I have better idea how to end this war" with a smile he knelled down in front of Lily

"L-Leo what are you doing?" Lily asked confused,her face turning redder than Raph's mask once Leo gently took her hand replying "Same what Captain Ryan would do"

"Princess Lily~" letting out a chuckle,Leo's voice turning deeper as turtle imitated the voice of his favorite fictional character

"Would you do me an honor of ending this pillow war and join me in watching marathon of Space Heroes Xmas special, so that we could together discover the mysteries space is hiding?"

Leo asked when he softly kissed Lily's hand still holding it gently, before his deep blue eyes gazed apon Lily's baby blue ones.

"Y-yes Captain- I would be honored-" Lily spoke with a shy blush,feeling her heart beating in a crazy rush.

Leo let out a chuckle sitting down next to Lily on a couch and turned on another Space Heroes episode as once again laughter and joy filled the room.

And who knows - maybe someday both of them will get chance to discover the mysteries of space or rather love itself.

However, that will have to wait next mistletoe, which might be hidding around the corner.
