he's here. the baby was pulled out of my stomach and at first i didn't hear any cries so i waited and waited and i still didn't hear any.
lana- no crying where's the crying
dani- i dont know baby
after waiting for what felt like years, i heard a cry and i started crying immediately. the doctors handed the baby to daniel
dani- look what we made baby
lana- i love him so much
let's get him cleaning up and get you closed up and taken to a room
we got to go to a room and i laid there silently
dani- what is it baby
lana- how did i get this life, how did i get you and the babies. i'm the luckiest in the world
dani-  no baby, i'm lucky
our conversation was interrupted by the nurse walking in with the baby
nurse- hi guys, here's your boy. he was born at exactly 6pm and he weighed 6lbs 7oz. do you have a name?
lana- yes, grant james
daniel- wow i know we agreed on grant but you used my name?
lana- of course, he should be named after someone as amazing as you!
nurse- beautiful name! would you like me to bri g everyone in?
lana- first can you bring our other babies in? i want a picture of all of us
nurse- of course
jonah walked in the room with grier and grayson and sat them on either side of me and daniel put grant in my arms. he got really close to grayson and jonah tooo the picture of us. i started feeling tired so i told jonah to get the twins and dani to get grant
dani- you okay baby?
lana- yea just really tired, a lot had happened today. jonah would you like to hold him
jonah- of course! he sat the twins on a chair and daniel went over and talked to them
jonah- he's beautiful
lana- thank you, i try my best... if you want you can tell the nurse to send everyone in or how ever many people are allowed. for the next hour or more we had people in and out of the room. grant was asleep and so were the twins, jonah took the twins home and dani stayed with me at the hospital. he hugged me in his arms
dani- thank you
lana- for what?
dani- for being my best friend, my wife, and the mother of my children
lana- no thank you! you turned my whole life around. i love you
dani- i love you too, now let's get some rest, i know you're exhausted
lana- yes i am, i can make room for you if you want
dani- no baby it's okay, i already asked and they said i can't sleep up there because of your stitches. i sleep in the chair but you have to hold my hand the whole tone
lana- deal
dani grabbed my hand and started humming again and tracing circles. next thing i know i'm asleep
