¥Day Ten of Being Kept Underground¥

There's a woman who wakes me up and pulls out clothes for me to wear. She faces the wall as I get dressed and when I tell her I'm finished, I sit down at my vanity and she fixes my hair and applies very light makeup to my face. Once I am ready, she leaves me alone. Luca comes in not much later.

"Hello, kitten," he says, and I believe I see a smirk under his mask

We leave together for breakfast and after breakfast, he takes me to his library. Its very cold in there but I haven't let in shown. That was until today, I shivered.

"Are you cold? Come here, sit closer to me, I'll try to warm you up,"

I thought for a second, was if I didn't. But I obeyed. I sat next to him. Luca took off his black jacket and watched me put it on. It reminded me of when I wore Don's jacket and my hands were hidden in the sleeves. Luca pulled me close to him. One arm went around my shoulders and his other reached across so his hand could turn my face towards his.

"I would of been looking for you the day you went missing. The fact that it's been ten days just might show how much Don cares about you,"

I nodded.

Twenty days. Twenty since I went missing. I have finally realized, that I probably will never feel the arms of Don again. But I do need somebody. I don't want to feel alone, in the same cycle everyday. So when the lady came in, I asked if I could wear a skirt.

In a matching black outfit, I waited for Luca. But he never came. Soon a plate of warm breakfast was delivered. I asked where Luca was but the lady didn't answer. For a second I worried then I became hopeful. Not too much later, the lady came in to pick up my finished plate. I brushed my teeth and waited for someone to come in. Anyone to tell me what was going on.

I was just started to become restless when my door creamed open. It was Luca. I sighed in relief.

"Sorry I couldn't make it for breakfast. Meetings," he rolled his eyes

I gave him a small smile. The first smile I had sent him. And to this Luca's eyes squinted up.

"I missed you today," I told him

"Is that so?"

I nodded and looked down at my feet. Luca walked over to me.

"I don't think anyone's coming for me," I admitted. I glanced up at him. "Do you?"

"I don't know. If you were anyone else I'd say no. But someone, somebody has to be worried sick about you,"

I smirked. "Yeah, maybe,". I nervously wrung my hands. "I want to tell you that I'm thankful for how good you are taking care of me and I want to get to know you better,"

"Stockholm Syndrome?" He asked

I laughed. "Only a little,"

"Well, you're welcome and I want to get to know you better,"

Luca and I walked the dark passages to the library. He sat on his black sofa. Usually, I'd take the red chair across from him. But I sat next to him. Luca willingly took off his jacket without asking, and gave it to me.

"We should probably get some blankets in here," Luca joked

I nodded. I tucked my feet up and scooted closer into his body. Luca's eyes squinted up again.

We talked. He didn't tell me much about himself but I opened up a little to him. I told him how I am sensitive and quiet and how I get made fun of at school. To this he furrowed his eyebrows.

"They're just jealous,"

"That's what everyone says," I rolled my eyes. "Cause of my 'pretty face',"

"Well yes. But more than that,"

I looked up at him. I need to be in someone's arms, I need to have someone. I don't know how to cope without someone.

"Luca, I want to see your face under the mask,"

"Why?"

I blushed. "Take it off and you'll find out,"

Luca brought his fingers to his mask. Making eye contact, he slipped his hand under the cloth, moving his hand to one side then the other. I saw his face slowly appear. His broad nose and his lips, his teeth and a scar on his jaw. I smiled.

"You're very good looking," I giggled

Luca smiled and shook his head. I poked his scar.

"What is this from?"

"Your boyfriend," Luca said, his smile was replaced by a sneer

"He's not my boyfriend," I said quickly

I mean was he? Sure wasn't acting like it.

Luca furrowed his eyebrows. "You sure about that,"

"Yes," I lied

"I don't believe it," he looked away from me

Act fast, Lucy. I took his hand and led it to my waist. I kissed the scar. Luca turned his face to me. He looked into my eyes with his. He smirked and kissed me. A rush of guilt filled my lungs but I continued. I suffocated that feeling.

Luca pulled away. He sighed. His hands were cupping my face as mine held on his shoulders.

"Why did you stop?" I asked

"Did you want me to keep going?" He laughed

"Only a little bit more,"
