Epilogue.

*Elena*

Three years had gone by so fast. I simply couldn't believe that I had succeeded in university and in just four days time I was going to graduate and get my degree. After waking up I sat on the end of my bed and started mentally planning out my day as I had absolutely nothing to do and my roommate Ali was out with her family who travelled up early. I was in my own world when my phone started ringing and Joe's picture flashed up on the screen indicating a video call. Butterflies rose in my stomach at the thought of him, three years later and I was still deeply in love with him. I had not seen him in a month though and it was tough. "Hey you." I beamed. He grinned. He looked absolutely perfect, he had quiffed his hair in a really cute way and he was wearing his red hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath. "Hi beautiful. How's everything?" He answered back, his smile widening as he said it. I leaned back on my bed. "Really good. Overwhelming though. Still can't believe I'm graduating in four days." I replied. "I'm so proud of you. Have you thought about a potential career?" He wondered while stroking his hair back. "I've given it a huge thought. I want to teach art to children with disabilities. There's offers going at the moment near us. I think it will be a beautiful thing to do." I admitted. Joe's eyes glistened. "That's one of my favourite things about you, your kind heart. You'd be a perfect teacher." He smiled. I smiled back even though I was wanting to kiss him so much. "I'm really sorry I can't make your graduation Elena." He sighed sadly. He broke the news to me a week earlier, YouTube was taking him and the rest of the Youtubers including Alfie and Marcus from that day already, I was upset, but it's their career, they could not help it. "It's okay, I'll still have my parents, Poppy and Sean there. I know you and the others can't help it." I said with a faint smile on my face. "I have to go, I'll see you soon yeah? I miss and love you." He cried. I blew a kiss before saying back "I miss and love you too Joe." He pretended to catch the kiss in his hand before hanging up, leaving me to sob out of how much I wanted him to be there with me.

*Joe*

I hated lying to Elena so much. I could tell how hurt she was when I lied to say that I, Alfie and many others couldn't make her graduation. We just really wanted to surprise her as she absolutely adored surprises. We had been organising it for weeks with her parents, Poppy and Sean. I had even brought a new suit for the occasion. The day of her graduation soon did arrive. We travelled up to Glasgow secretly, trying not to bump into fans just in case they gave us away. All together out of the Youtubers there was me, Alfie, Zoë, Marcus, Niomi, Caspar, Jim, Tanya, Louise, Dan, Phil and Chai. We checked into our hotels and got ready. The suit I brought was a dark grey colour with a white shirt and a blood red tie. I then wrapped up Elena's present before travelling up to the university ready to surprise her. We were all excited. We sat down in our seats on the third row and waited for her to get her degree certificate and do her speech ready to catch her attention. About an hour later it was her turn. My stomach did flips at the sight of how beautiful she looked. She had left her hair to its natural wavy state. Her make up was done beautifully. Her graduation gown was black and light pink and the dress she wore a white strapless dress that flowed out just below her knees with pastel pink flowers printed all over it. Her shoes were lacy white flat ones. She got given her degree before she stepped out onto the podium. "I still can't believe I got my degree. I'm so grateful and so happy and I can't wait to start my future teaching children with disabilities art. It will be a beautiful opportunity and I hope I will change lives for the better. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my professors and my family for coming today." She beamed before looking to the third row.When she saw Alfie and the other Youtubers she looked gobsmacked. "Wow. I'd also love to thank my wonderful brother and his friends for lying to me about not being able to come to surprise me."  She laughed until she noticed me. "And my boyfriend for doing the same, who I haven't seen in a month and who I've missed so badly, I love you so much Joe." She sobbed as her emotions had got the better of her. Everyone awwed and cheered. I was so excited for the graduation to be over so I could hold her.

*Elena*

I was an emotional wreck after being surprised by Joe, Alfie and the others. I was so overwhelmed. As soon as the ceremony finished I ran straight into Joe's arms and started crying again. He held me for ages until he wiped my tears and placing his lips on mine gently. "I've missed you so much." I sobbed. He kissed me on the forehead before reaching in his pocket and taking out a beautifully wrapped gift. I opened it to reveal a beautiful rose gold ring with a ruby in it. "It's the birthstone of July, the month of which we met for the very first time on Brighton beach." Joe said before getting down on one knee with the ring now in his hand. I could no longer breathe out of pure shock. "Elena, you're my love. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm proud to call you mine. I can't wait to settle down and have children with you, you're going to be a beautiful mum and a wonderful teacher. I don't know what I did to deserve you but I know that no matter what life throws at me, I want you to be by my side. I love you so much, will you marry me?" He wondered, tears rolling down his own cheek. I was utterly speechless, I could not believe it. "Of course I will! I love you so, so much!" I screamed before kissing his lips happily and smiling as he slid the gorgeous ring on my finger. I then ran into Alfie's arms, I had missed my brother a lot. I was just so happy to be reunited with the people who meant the most. It was truly the best day of my life.
