Our visitor was here too early. He was supposed to be here in a few weeks.

We all lined up in a corridor near the front entrance. HABIT was the only one I recognized there. I noticed he had a set of spider legs coming out of his back. Makes his multiple eyes make sense. His floppy ears were at attention from him being alert. The thing is, he's the only other male here.

There was one female with wings almost twice the size of her body that were bright electric blue. Her body was black except her eyes and hair. They were a dark blue. Her hair so dark it was almost black. She must be Nightmare.

Another was black and white. Scales sprinkled her body. White eyes with black slits as pupils. Bleached white hair draped down six inches from her shoulders. She looked like a snake. That's Cordelia then. I'd heard she was a little snake from the guards.

I noticed that there was a fifth one here. She must be new. She mainly was green. Scales covered her body and her eyes and hair were a dark mossy green. She was dressed in clothing that made her look like a whore, if I'm being perfectly honest.

There was a man in a black business suit and red tie. He had very plain features, I'll just leave it up to you to create an image of him. He was almost as tall as us, which was saying something. All of us were about 7-10 feet tall.

Zackery walked in. "Alright. I'm only going to tell you this once. This is Samuel. He's a colleague of mine and will be taking you off of my hands if he approves of you. If he doesn't, to the chopping block with you."

I chuckle a little. Then start clapping at his half hearted speech. Everyone looked at me, either with amusement, anger, or disgust. I didn't give a shit. It was fun to make fun of Zackery and see him get pissed.

Samuel looks us over with his blank eyes, carefully examining us one by one. He came to me. I stared him straight in the eyes and smiled as best as I could with a deer skull as a head. He scowled and moved onto Cordelia.

She smiled as well, but he smiled back this time. I could tell who his favorite one was immediately.

"They'll all do just fine." Samuel said in a deep grading voice as he walked toward the main entrance.

Guards flanked each of us individually and made us follow.

Once we were outside Zackery's front gates, we were teleported to an area surrounded by woods. A big mansion was hidden behind a particularly thick part.

"Welcome home, my new pets."
