Chase found this woken that was so kind to him, he had feelings for her. He asked her out on a date but rejected him telling him he wasn't the man and that he smelled like alcohol. So she chased him off away as he ran home almost crying cause of his drinking problem. He went straight to his room and slammed the door and layed in bed crying.
