MINA POV
Why is Y/N so late?
She usually comes to me and my members dorm before 2:00 pm but now it's almost 3:00 pm.
I start to worry and Jihyo seems o notice.
"Mina, what's wrong?" She asked concerned. The rest of my members look at me with worry.
"Y/n isn't here yet..." I pout. They look at each other not known ng how to comfort me. Suddenly Dahyun speaks up.
"Don't worry Mina, I'm sure she's on her way."
"Yeah, she probably just got stuck up in traffic or something." Sana reassured.
Right after she said that, there was a knock on the door.
My head quickly perked up and I rushed to the door smiling.
Instead of seeing Y/n as I thought, I came face to face with Jirea, Y/n's ex.
My smile immediately faded as the rest of my group followed thinking it was Y/n too, but glared once they saw who it was.
Jirea then spoke up,
"Is Y/n-" Tzuyu cut her off.
"Who let you in here?"
"Well your manager did."
She put her hands on her hips, glaring at Tzuyu.
Does our manager really think we're friends?
"ANYWAY, before I so rudely got cut off, I was asking is Y/n here?"
"Why?" Nayeon asked.
"Well I need to talk to her about something. Just the two of us." She smirked.
"Well she's not here so-" Dahyun got cut off by the angel herself.
"Sorry I'm late! I was called to work extra and went to the store to buy you something and then traffic happe-"
Once Y/n had saw Jirea she stopped and looked between me and her. Then she looked at me then her then me then her then finally stopped on me.
"What is she doing here?" She asked briefly looking at Jirea.
Before I was able to say something, Jirea smiled brightly at Y/n before talking.
"I needed to talk to you about something."
Y/n stared blankly at her.
Y/n pov
"But I have to be somewhere!" I whined.
"I'm sorry Y/n, but more people are coming in and Leah isn't coming in today so we'll need you to do her part."
My boss Chealon said.
"Fine..." I groaned.
"Thanks Y/n I knew I could count on you." She smiled.
"Yeah yeah whatever. Move so I can get to work." I playfully said.
She continued to scold my coworkers.
I looked at my watch which read:
1:08.
'Ugh I'm not gonna make it in time.'
Time Skip
After finally finishing my time, I said my farewells to my coworkers and immediately pulled out of my workplace.
I checked my watch again.
'2:27. Geez she must be worried.
I reached in my pocket for my phone, but came out empty handed.
'Where is my phone?'
Then I came to realization.
I left it in the bathroom at my work desk because I was in a rush.
I decided that I should buy Mina something since I'm probably making her worried.
Once I pulled up to the store I roamed for a bit before I finally found some cute stuff.
I paid and left and then got caught up in some traffic.
It's now 2:44 and traffic seemed to slow down even more.
Finally I arrived at Twice dorm building.
I greeted the front desk lady and made my way to the elevator.
When I got there their door was open and I heard people talking.
"Sorry I'm late! I was called to work extra and went to the store to buy you something and then traffic happe-"
I stopped talking when I saw Jirea and all of Twice in the kitchen which is the first place you walk into when you come in.
I looked between Jirea and Mina a couple of times before stopping on Mina.
'I'm so confused.'
"What is she doing here?" I asked making slight eye contact with Jirea.
Instead of Mina answering, who which I directed the question to, Jirea answered.
"I need to talk to you about something." She was smirking at me.
I plainly looked at her.
"Ok, talk."
"I mean alone." She corrected.
" Whatever you have to say, it doesn't have to be said with just us two. It can't be anything personal cause we don't know each other anymore." I sassed.
She stared at me straight in the eye.
" Fine. I was gonna say something that may have made you get back together with me but since everyone is here I guess I'll just say the other thing I was gonna say." She was still looking at me.
Mina had lowered her head once Jirea had said that, so I grabbed her hand and smiled at her.
I looked back at Jirea and stopped smiling.
"And that is?"
"I was gonna come to your job to talk to you but you weren't there, but your phone was." She smirked and pulled my phone out of her pocket.
" Oh,um... thanks."
Before I was able to reach for it she pulled it back and smirked.
"I'll give it to you under one circumstance..." She teased.
