Sometimes people say that you should always follow your heart but that you shouldn't always listen to it. I guess I never really understood this until recently when my heart brought me to a difficult decision. That's right, one of those moments when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. It seems that following my heart had led me down a path that wasn't right for me and my relationships. And instead of listening to my head and turning back I kept listening to my heart and followed it blindly into the unknown. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you have to listen to your heart, but following it blindly is only going to lead to heartbreak and hurt feelings. Follow your heart, but if your head tells you something is up you should probably listen to it...God placed your head above your heart for a reason... so you can make decisions using both.
