“Come on, this is ridiculous.” He held his hands up as the man approaching raised a gun. He could feel sweat on his palms and his heart beating erratically. He was no expert on guns but he had seen enough movies to know that you didn’t want to be on the receiving end should of one, it go off.
“Relax,” his friend said, his hands held loosely at his side as he gazed calmly at the man in front of them.
He looked at him. “What are you thinking? Man, don’t do anything stupid.” He knew his friend well and he knew that nothing good could come out of that stance in this situation.
His friend just smiled and took a step forward. This distinct sound of shoes squeaking on a wet floor and a gun being cocked rang in his ears.
“What the hell are you doing?” He hissed, but his friend didn’t stop. He closed his eyes, the sound of a gunshot deafening him.
