|Cinder's POV|

It has been two years ever since I got adopted by my dad, and I could safely say that it has been thre greatest! Not that my life with my biological family was bad, but, being with dad is just the greatest.

Sure he's mostly at work, but what makes him great is that he always thinks about us first, always making time for us, paying us back for all the time he missed with us. However, earlier in the years, dad wasn't the dad I had now.

Before, he was a bit cold with us, and you could also say a bit awkward, but he still tried his best, and here he is, our greatest dad! And he says its all thanks to us! So cute!

But, during those two years, nothing weird happened, until now. Here we were, in the living room, me and Neo sat on one of the couches in the room, with Amber and Saphron, who we basically treat as our big sisters, were behind us, on guard and ready to attack. And, in front of us, on a chair, is our 15 year old father.

Amber: "So let me get this straight, you were given a mission, directly from Olivia, the headmaster of Beacon, to destroy the De-Aging serum, something that General Ironwood introduced after it was made by one if his scientists, as it can cause chaos?"

To this question, my dad nodded, looking at Amber with a amused look, something that verifies that he really is my dad, -not that I didn't believe him yesterday, as I could just tell he was my father- since it's how he looks at people at every argument he gets dragged into.

Saphron: "I did hear about something relating to this, but, sorry, I still can't believe, as this just feels impossible."

My blonde big sis was still skeptical, which me and Neo understood, but I am getting quite annoyed as to how they still couldn't believe dad, and I could feel that Neo was the same.

Dad(Yin): "So you want me to say something that will really prove that I'm Yin?"

Amber: "Of course."

Dad: "Okay, then. But, before that, girls, *Points at Neo and I* cover your ears."

Our dad tell us, or rather, demands us to do it, but out of curiosity, I didn't fully cover my ears, and looking at Neo on my right, I could tell she did the same. Then, thinking we can't here anything, dad began to talk.

Dad: "At one random night, I suddenly received an urgent mission. And, before that, I promised Neo and Cinder that they'd have me for the whole day that day, and tomorrow. I didn't want to break my promise, but the mission was pretty urgent, so I decided to quickly finish it, then come back unnoticed. To make sure that my daughters were asleep, I decided to enhance my hearing to easily hear their breathing, however, can any of you two guess what I heard?"

My dad questioned the two, leaving Saphron confused, but I could see Amber in deep thought. Resting his elbow on the armrest, then placing his head on his hand, dad seemed to smirk while looking at Amber.

Dad: "No answer? Well, then I'll tell you. With my hearing enhanced, I could easily hear everything that happens in the house. So, after I did that, instead of hearing if my daughters were asleep, I suddenly heared yelling, do you two know where? Ah! I'll get to the point, I heard muffled shouting from Amber's room...and it was my name. Thinking it was something dangerous was happening, I teleported there, and I was shocked, to say, at to what I saw."
