"hyunjin hyung~ can you come over? it's so cold outside, i wanna cuddle" the brunet whined while in a video call with his long-time crush, hyunjin.

"sure bestie, anything for you. i'll be there in 10, see you then hehe" the black-haired guy replied.

currently, hyunjin assumed that he was straight but wasn't too sure about his sexuality. he too, did have butterflies in his stomach whenever he saw or interacted with seungmin. in fact, seungmin never left his mind. same goes for the other party, which was constantly thinking about the aforementioned.

not long later, hyunjin came over and the two had a cuddle session while leaving day6's discography running.

"you really love day6, don't you?" hyunjin asked the boy who was in his arms, wrapped in a thick blanket.

they sat in each other's arms and talked about almost everything under the sun.

2 hours passed and the sky was turning darker by the minute. a bright flash of light illuminated the dark sky, followed by a loud clap of thunder. hyunjin, despite having the "bad boy" and "brave" looking build, he was not fond of thunderstorms. hence, he snuggled deeper into seungmin's arms to hide his fear-ridden face. he was really trying his best not to let his feelings get the better of him, but the wet patch on seungmin's chest told otherwise. seungmin tried to calm the older boy by whispering sweet words in his ear, but the thunderstorm had better ideas, which was to cut off the electricity in the house. seungmin sighed. he had to get up to look for a flashlight but he couldn't leave hyunjin alone in his room, so he pulled hyunjin out of the bed and held his hand while walking. seungmin got hold of a flashlight not too long later and they headed back to the room for a second round of cuddling.

the thunderstorm had lifted but it was still drizzling outside. as it was already late, the last bus going towards hyunjin's house had already left the stop near seungmin's place. it would also be too far of a walk back home as their homes were distanced by a long expressway that was dangerous to cross. hence, hyunjin had no choice but to stay over at seungmin's place.
however, because seungmin stayed in a studio apartment, there was only one bed. by then, it was 9pm and seungmin was feeling hungry. he didn't dare to leave the older as he was cuddled in his arms and a slight movement would cause him to wake up. hence, seungmin tried to shift himself slowly so he could get out of bed. alas, hyunjin woke up from his movement but was also hungry so they both got up and attempted to make some food. keyword : attempted. it wasn't too long later when they smelt something burning on the stove. once again, their cooking skills have failed them. they decided to call for pizza delivery instead to lessen the hassle of preparing ingredients for cooking again.
