Forced to hurt

chapter 3

This takes place after the previous chapter.
And this story will have a happy end.

Ritchie had woken up in a cold sweat for the 5th time that week. His breathing was heavy as the dream/nightmare was still fresh in his mind.

As much as he didn't like his counterpart from this world because he and his twin are always trying to kill him and his twin, he's not sure if his counterpart is actually evil. Especially since it's different each day, but always results in Brandon's counterpart hurting Ritchie's counterpart.

Ever since he started to have these dreams, Ritchie began to think that the counterpart of his brother was the evil one and forcing Ritchie's counterpart to do bad things. He sighed, knowing that he should bring this up with his brother and maybe the other guild leaders, even though he wanted to keep the dreams a secret.

He got up out of his bed before silently making his way towards his brother's room, knowing it was early enough for Brandon to be awake. He slowly and quietly opened the door, just incase Brandon was still asleep. He walked in when he saw that his brother wasn't asleep, and that he was reading in bed. Brandon looked up, sensing his twin nearby but frowned when he sensed the discomfort coming off of him.

''What's wrong brother?'' Ritchie sighed before explaining the dreams he had been having for the last 5 days, and how they felt so real.

Brandon went silent for a moment before speaking up.

''It could be possible that it was only a dream, but seeing as how it has been happening for the past 5 days and it's different each time, it's likely that it's not. Meaning that we should inform the other guild leaders and see if there is anyway to confirm that what you're seeing is true, and if it is, we try and save him.'' Ritchoe gave a thankful nod towards his brother before standing up and walking towards the door.

''I'll go make some breakfast, you can read until it's done.'' Brandon smiled at his twin before frowning once the door was closed.

He always knew that his counterpart was insane, but he never thought he would have done things like that to his own twin. He sighed, knowing that if Ritchie's dreams were true, that the counterpart of his wouldn't let his younger twin leave so easily.
