Lamont dropped our son off at 8:30 last night. He said he wasn't feeling well enough to drive back home and asked to crash on the couch. I know he has a girlfriend so I told him to call her because I know for a fact she doesn't like me.

Why do I have to call her to spend the night at your house?

Lamont you know she don't like me and I'm not dealing with that drama. She got a problem with you spending the night over here with your son then that's something y'all need to work out.

She already knows if she get out of pocket with you it's a problem. Thank you for respecting my relationship but you don't have to worry about her causing no drama.

Call her Lamont. I mean it.

Then I turned to go upstairs. You don't have to sleep on my couch. Get in the bed with your son. He'd love to wake up to you in the morning. Don't even think about coming in my room. Just cause you my baby daddy don't mean I won't hurt you.

I called her around 9 to hear her voice before going to bed. She told me her son's father was sleeping in the room with their son. I don't know why I felt jealous but I did.

Can you trust him Bri? Not trying to be THAT guy but...

Then don't be THAT guy Mike! He's still my son's father and I don't want anything happening to him! I still got love for him as a friend and he gave me my child.

Brianna! Stop! I'm not saying not to care and be concerned. I'm saying to be careful and aware. I know you still have love for him. Just be careful okay?

I will be careful babe okay? His girlfriend doesn't like me or like us co-parenting. Just because we have a history doesn't mean anything. We both have accepted and agreed that we're better off as friends. No relationship drama just friends.

Baby girl... I am not her. I think it's great that y'all maintain that bond for the sake of your son. Y'all don't have to be together to raise him right. I just don't want anything to happen to you or him.

Baby your son might be safe from Lamont but you if he so desires can hurt or kill you. I don't know how to cope if I were to lose you.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I didn't really know how to feel about the conversation I just overheard. Who the fuck was Mike and why was he talking about our business? I would never hurt Brianna or Melvin. I knew Brianna would eventually move on but I didn't understand my reaction. I loved my baby mama but it wasn't on a relationship level. I wanted her to be happy and it sounded like she was.

Then why do I feel sad? Why am I feeling how I felt when we broke up? Spending the night was a bad idea. Going back to sleep with my little man.

I fell asleep to the sound of Mike's voice. It was incredibly relaxing to hear him talking one minute and hear breathing the next to know he fell asleep. I was right behind him in going to sleep.

The next morning I woke up to my doorbell. I opened the door and the messenger asked for me. Once I signed he handed me the card and package.

Good morning beautiful. I hope you had a good night's sleep. I look forward to seeing you in whatever tempting outfit you have on today. I want you to wear this today so whenever you look at it you think of me.

I opened the package and saw his favorite watch with a note saying to wear something red. I went to my closet and found a red pantsuit with a black shirt. I took out my black stiletto boots and put my hair in a curly bun. I told Lamont he could stay here with Devon if he still wasn't feeling well. I gave my son kisses and then I walked out of the front door.
