Chapter 11

This is a continuation from last chapter. Sorry for not uploading for about 3 months but I just didn't know what to write. Thank you all for reading my story and hope you enjoy this chapter.

MALFOYS

Draco ran home as fast as he could. He still didn't believe that happened, one moment Harry and Draco were talking and soon after confessing they were in love, then the other moment Draco saw 2 vampire hunters chaining up a passed out Harry and taking him away. He recognised the voice of one of the hunters it was his aunt, Bellatrix Lestrange but he couldn't recognise the other one. Draco finally reached the front gates of the manor, he walked through and ran through the gap between the bushes to the front door.

As soon as he opened the door his mother and father were just walking downstairs. "Draco what are you doing here? where were you?" His mother asked

"Later, is Severus here?" Draco couldn't wait to explain where he was, he needed the only person that could help him.

"Severus? No he said that he will be over later but what's wrong? Why do you need Severus?" His father asked.

Draco was out of breath from the running, he couldn't explain why he needed Severus, he couldn't tell his parents that Harry is a vampire. Suddenly Draco felt pain in his hand specifically on the tattoo which means hunter meeting. 'Shit' Draco thought.

"Come on Draco, let's see what this meeting is about this time" His father said.

"But-" Draco was cut off by his mother

"No buts Draco you know the rules, let's go" So they left the manor to the big house right at the edge of the forest. Draco couldn't help but feel nervous on what's about to happen. He really didn't want to go into the meeting especially after Harry was taken away by two of them. Draco, Narcissa and Lucius turned into their hunter forms and went inside. There were about 50 hunters sitting in the meeting room. Draco and his family sat at the free empty seats in the back. Soon after the 5 leaders entered the room but one of them seemed to be carrying a body covered with a sheet on his shoulder.

"Hello everyone, thank you all for coming since this is a very special meeting. As you can see my dear friend is holding someone on his shoulder. Barty how about you put down our guest for everyone to see who it is." The main leader said to the one holding the body. Draco knew that the body he was holding was Harry.

Draco knew who the second person was, it was Barty Crouch Jr. Barty took off the sheet that covered Harry for everyone to see and chained Harry's legs to the chains on the floor and his arms to the chains hanging from the ceiling, also he noticed that Harry had something in his neck, it's like a dart. Harry also still had the vampire muzzle on. This was a very sick image to look at, Harry's the love of his life and he can't do anything to help him otherwise everyone will know that he was in love with a vampire. But really all Draco wanted to do was go up and save Harry. Draco's parents looked at Draco hoping he would explain why their son's best friend is up there but Draco couldn't focus on them, all he could focus on was the image of his Harry being chained with a dart that was probably filled with something for Harry to stay unconscious.

"Thank you Barty, now some of you might be wondering who this is that joined us tonight, so this boy right here is the son of James Fleamont Potter and Lily June Potter who some of you might know are the king and queen of the vampires. A few years ago they got killed by my faithful co-leaders, Tom and Bellatrix but little did we know that they had a son and their son is right here with us." The five leaders took off their masks to reveal who they are. In the middle was none other than Albus Dumbledore, the biggest vampire hunter in the world, on his right was Tom Riddle, next to Tom was Barty Crouch Jr. On Dumbledore's left was Bellatrix Lestrange and next to her was Dolores Umbridge. "Now we have to thank the person that actually helped us catch him, and this is none other than Draco Lucius Malfoy. Draco would you please come over so we can thank you?" Dumbledore asked, Draco didn't have a choice he had to do it, so he stood up and walked to the leaders. "This boy befriended the vampire without him knowing who his best friend is but it worked, we followed the boys around and found out how close they are, then when Draco distracted the boy Bellatrix shot a dart filled with Vervain and took both her and Barty returned with what we've been hunting for years, so we have to thank you Draco for getting close to him and letting us finally catch him." Dumbledore said Draco nodded and returned to his seat in the back next to his mother. He felt so bad but if he knew that the hunters were following him he would do anything to stop them from hurting Harry. "Now that's all we had to say thank you all for being here." With that everyone started to leave the meeting room.

On the way home Draco felt so guilty if he just knew that this would happen he wouldn't meet up with Harry at night in the woods where there were no people to see what was happening. Draco was in deep thought that he didn't notice that they arrived by the front gates of the manor. When they went inside Draco had to tell his parents everything so he went with them to the living room.

"Father, Mother I know that you're confused about this whole thing but please let me explain."

"Alright Draco, tell us what happened last night"

"Well I should begin what happened 2 weeks ago"

"What do you mean Draco?"

"I mean that the story started 2 weeks ago, I went out to the woods for a walk. I heard a noise similar to vampire drinking from something so I sneaked up to the place where the sound came from. I was right it was a vampire drinking from a rabbit before it managed to ran away I recognised who it was, I didn't believe it, at first then I saw red eyes with fangs covered with blood but the messy black hair I would recognise anywhere, it was Harry. He tried to explain but I just yelled at him and walked away. I felt bad about it and when it sank in I wanted to meet with him which was this night. he explained everything, everything that happened to Hazel, Everything about him and vampires, He told me everything we thought couldn't be true."

"What do you mean by that Draco?" His mother asked

"What I mean is that vampire's aren't what is written in the books or anything that we're told, vampires are not blood thirsty selfish creatures, well they do drink blood but they don't kill people without a good reason and some of them don't even like human blood so they go out hunting."

"You know Draco that makes sense on why we find dead animals instead of people but what I want to know is it true is he is actually the last royal vampire that's alive?"

"Yes father therefore he needs to be saved from there otherwise the vampires aren't going to have a leader."

"I understand Draco but how do we do that?"

"I don't know" Draco looked down to his feet. Then there was a big bang on the door, Narcissa stood up and went to see who is making such a racket. She came back with a very nervous Severus

"Harry has gone missing I was hoping he was here with you but looks like he's not"

Draco and his parents explained everything about this nights events and to say Severus was angry was an understatement he was fuming and very upset.

"HOW FUCKING COULD THEY TAKE HIM AWAY DON'T THEY UNDERSTAND THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ANOTHER WAR, WE REALLY DON'T NEED THAT RIGHT NOW!" Severus shouted while his eyes were blood read and looked like he was ready to kill.

"Severus calm down we need to get him back but the question is how" Lucius said while Severus was raging under his breath.

"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN, HE IS THE LEADER, VAMPIRES NEED HIM, HE IS MY NEPHEW FOR GODS SAKE!" that's when Severus broke out crying. Even if he wasn't his real uncle he still treated him as if he is his nephew since he has no one in his family left to help him. "If I kept a closer eye on him nothing would have happened"

"Severus don't blame yourself, I'm the one who needs to be blamed, I told him to meet me in the woods, I took him to the place where there was no one who could hear or see us, I'm the one who needs to take the blame for what happened." Draco said also with tears in his eyes. Lucius, Severus and Narcissa both got Draco into a group hug and stayed there for a while.
