5 year old Colby had been in the hospital ever since he learned to walk. He wasn't ever sure how he got there most of the time as he would randomly pass out. The doctor's ran many tests, but could never give his parents an answer to what was wrong with their baby boy, but they gave them a list of what to look out for and what to do when it happens. Any time Colby made friends, his parents would always have to give them a copy of the list before the first playdate. Sam's family was the only ones who were willing to continue to have Colby over after the first incident where he passed out. Fast forward 13 years, Sam and Colby are 18 years old and have a decent apartment in LA, but are about to move in with a few other roommates in a mansion.
