GoGo's Pov
I get in my black dress that Honey Lemon lent me and combed my hair. I sighed because of how sad the funeral for Tadashi would be.
Especially for Hiro.
He hasn't talked to anyone but Aunt Cass for the last two days. I'm really worried about him. He doesn't deserve this. I looked into his eyes the day Tadashi died.
--Flashback--
BOOM!
The building practically exploded. I see Hiro, blown right back to where he last hugged Tadashi. I heard murmurs behind me.
"Is he..."
"No, he can't be.."
Suddenly, we heard a groan coming from Hiro's direction. We saw him getting up and i'll never forget the look of sadness and horror on his face as he looked at the building. He screamed Tadashi's name. He then tried to run to the charred building. He was gripping his arm and clenching his teeth, like it hurt to move it. A few students came forward and grabbed him. They pulled him over to a park bench.Me, Wasabi, Fred, and Honey Lemon came over to look at him. I gasped when I saw him. His arm was burnt very badly and his clothes were scorched. "Hiro," I started, but couldn't finish. Poor Hiro's face was covered in ash and was wet. He was crying. Honey Lemon came over and hugged him for comfort. He tried to smile but I could tell that he was still sad. That was two days ago.
--End of Flashback--
I heard Honey Lemon calling my name to come outside. I grabbed my purse and walked outside to see Honey and the others in the car. I was squashed in the back with Fred. Wasabi was driving and Honey was in the front. After long moments of silence, Wasabi finally spoke up.
"Do you guys think that Hiro will be okay?"
"Don't know," I answered, "He needs all the support he can get." They all nodded and we soon pulled up to Aunt Cass's Café/ House. After we parked, we walked inside to see pictures of Tadashi on the walls and flowers everywhere. Everyone was either crying or had a face full of grief. There was one other problem.
Hiro was nowhere to be found.
Hiro's pov
I didn't want to talk.
To anyone.
I couldn't take it. Tadashi is gone. He's never coming back. I just sat at the top of the stairs in my white shirt and black tie. I heard the jingle of the bell as someone came in.
No, more than one person.
Probably GoGo, Wasabi, Fred, and Honey Lemon. I heard them talking to Aunt Cass.
"Hey Aunt Cass," said Wasabi.
"Hello, everyone," said Aunt Cass with a shaky voice.
"How is Hiro taking this?" GoGo asked.
"Not well," she replied, "He stays in his room the whole day and doesn't eat as much anymore." I just walked to my room to get away from it all. I sat on my bed, held my face in my hands, and cried.
"Hiro?" I heard someone ask. I turned and saw Honey in the doorway to my room. She looked as heartbroken as I was. She came and sat down next to me on the bed. She hugged me and I hugged back. "Why aren't you coming downstairs?" she asked.
"I can't," I replied flatly.
"Why not?"
"Because everyone will just be all pitiful," I answered, "I don't need people looking at me sadly." She sighed and hugged me one last time before going downstairs.
GoGo's Pov
I heard the tapping of Honey Lemon's heels coming down the oak steps.
"What happened?" I demand.
"He won't come downstairs." We all sigh and just sip our coffee.
I can only think of one person.
Hiro.
