(Hello Everyone! How are you? I'm so thankful for everyone who has read this story or voted for it. So thank you! I wanted to ask if you would like a smut scene between Katelyn and Christopher. It can be detailed or it could be a make-out scene than just a mentioning of sex like before. I just wanted to see what your opinions are. Thank you all so much!)

"Alrighty!" I chirped. Christopher promptly swiveled his head around to look at me from his spot on the couch, his face was contorted in a look of concern and confusion.

"How in the hell are you so chipper at," he looked at the wall clock, "7:53 in the mornin'?"

"I have my first day of work for my new job," I slipped on my converse.

"So, I'm takin' care of Theo today?"

"Yes, unless that is too challenging for you," My voice dipped into baby talk near the ending of the sentence. I walked around to the coffee table to use as support when tying my shoes, "I could just have my mom come over and babysit you."

"Nope, I got it."

I chuckled, smiling. "Alrighty then," I stood up straight and kissed Christopher's cheek.

"Good luck, Mama," He smirked at me.

I rolled my eyes and walked out, saying, "I don't need luck."

~~~~~~~~~~
I needed the luck. Oh, I needed the luck. Lordy, did I need the luck.
I didn't understand how challenging being a receptionist, for a branch of a company that gets nothing productive done. It's hell. I just want to grab the manager by the shoulders and shake them, yelling, "You need to get shit done!" But I can't do that. So, I sit and suffer through. I keep my mouth shut and I do as asked. I do as needed.
I walked into the house at around 5:30, putting my bag on the coffee table. I push my shoes off my feet.
"Hey, Lil' Mama," Christopher calls from the kitchen. He turned up the music he was listening to.
"Are you cooking?" I popped my back.
"Yup."
"And it's not on fire?"
"That was one time," He chuckled.
I smiled and walked into the kitchen. The song changed and Get You by Daniel Caeser started playing. I hummed along.
"Can I help you? Please?"
"I got it."
"No, you don't." I moved in between Christopher and the stove, my back to Christopher's chest.
He rolled his eyes and mumble-sung along to Get You.
"Through drought and famine, natural disasters. My baby has been around for me. Kingdoms have fallen, angels be calling."
I swayed my hips, sauteing the vegetables. Christopher's hands moved to my hips, squeezing gently.
"None of that could ever make me leave. Every time I look into your eyes I see it. You're all I need. Every time I get a bit inside I feel it
 My blood rose to my cheeks as it felt like he was singing to me.
"Ooh, who could've thought I'd get you. Ooh, who would've thought I'd get you"
He squeezed my hips, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"And when we're making love. Your cries they can be heard from far and wide." He sang the lines right into my ear. I felt chills run down my spine and jolts of electricity run from my ear down to my feet.
