Currently, after a full month in the new Hideout,everyone was gathered outside and going over everyone's improvements during the time they've been spending in the harsh and with danger beasts littered environment.

Mine: "I can definitely feel a huge difference."

Najenda: "Chelsea, tell us, what do you think of Night Raid, now that you've been with us for a month?"

Chelsea: "Hmm...well your strong, in fact, I'd go so far and say your way stronger than my old team.

Tatsumi, Mine, and most of the Group were pretty excited about her comment. Y/n however.

Y/n: "I'm smelling a but coming right around the corner now."

Chelsea: "That said....just because you're strong doesn't mean you'll survive. I took the liberty to look through all your old reports. Bulat was killed in a recent battle, while Sheele, even if she got her weapon back last month, lost her Weapon in a battle. The issue at hand isn't whether or not Bulat was a good person, or Sheele being clumsy. Rather it's the fact that Bulat, for dying, was incompetent."

A brief moment of silence fell, before her speech sunk in. Angering Both Tatsumi and Mine severely, while make Sheele feel pretty bad for being called out like that.

Mine: "WHAT?!"

Chelsea: "All I'm saying is that if you don't get it together,...you won't survive to see this fight to the end."

Before anyone dared to move, a bullet zipped by Chelsea's head, scaring her and everyone around. Y/n muskets barrel was smoking as he held an angry expression.

Y/n: "And I hope you realize that if you don't change that smart-ass attitude of yours, you won't live either. No matter what you think to know about Bulat through his files, You don't talk shit about the dead or call them 'incompetent'. So next time you decide to be an asshole, do it outside of my hearing so The next bullet doesn't land in that skull of yours, got it? If you'll excuse me now, I need to blow off some fucking steam."

And so, Y/n sunk into his shadow, seemingly vanishing from the spot leaving everyone silent, and a wide eyes Chelsea.

Chelsea: "He wouldn't just kill a member of his team....would he?"

While Lubbock, Tatsumi and Mine thought about how to get Chelsea back for talking shit, night slowly fell while distant gunshots were heard, indicating someone was still blowing off steam on some Danger beasts.

Y/n: "Akame will be livid if I'll leave all the meat here..."

He was now using his shadow to absorb some of the dead Beasts as suddenly Kurumi spoke up.

Kurumi: "You know, I agree with you that it's not okay to talk bad about dead people but... Don't you think you were a bit harsh this morning?"

Y/n: "I mean...okay maybe a bit. Still though, you know I have a short fuse and I was simply agitated by her talking Bulat and Sheele down like that."

Kurumi: "I know darling. And now use that cute head of yours, I thought you were good at reading people."

Y/n: "Yeah I've noticed. She's saying this shit because Something had happened to her recently. Maybe something with the team she mentio....her team was killed and doesn't want us to be killed too."

Chelsea: "You really are good at reading people y/n."

Y/n turned around and saw Chelsea emerge from a tree wearing her innocent smile while y/n put away his Musket.

Y/n: "And you're pretty good at sneaking if I haven't noticed you. Walk and talk?"

Chelsea nodded and the two started to make their way back towards the base. Chelsea spilled the beans of how her previous team was murdered while she was away, and was afraid of it happening again. Y/n told her about how he ended up as the Empires most wanted serial killer. Tatsumi even told her about Kurumi which made it easy for him to explain. After they were about 3/4 of the way back at the base
y/n changed the conversation.

Y/n: "Why did you decide to fetch me? If have Leone expected to bring me back."

Chelsea: "Leone was the one that asked me to bring you back."

The emperor of Time looked stunned for a second. His girlfriend send the girl pretending to be his Lioness to fetch him.

Y/n: "I don't buy it."

Chelsea: "I swear! Look she asked me to, so I could also explain to you why I was so harsh. And also to again, excuse myself for....well... pretending to be Leone to get you to kiss me."

Y/n: "That was one hell of a dick move, I'll tell you that."

Chelsea: "I'm really sorry okay. You two just looked so in love after I arrived for the first time , so I decided I just want to get a taste you know?"

Y/n: "Well, hope it was worth it."

Chelsea: "oh definitely, your a great kisser. Leone is one lucky lady."

Y/n just gave her a smile and a little giggle as the two finally reached the HQ again.

Mine: "There you are, what took you so long!"

Y/n: "Relax pinky. We were simply enjoying each other's company on the way back, that's all."

A red tick mark appears on Mines head, indicating she was about to rage at y/n

Mine: "I told you not to call me that you time manipulating Killer!"

Y/n: "Was that supposed to be an insult mine? Or are you just simply pointing out the facts? Hahaha!"

While mine was throwing a tantrum and everyone had a small laugh about it, Leone went to their shared bedroom after signaling to Y/n she was going. Before he was going after her, chealse stopped him.

Chelsea: "Thanks for the talk today Y/n, I appreciate it. Are we cool with each other now?"

A smile formed on his face.

Y/n: "Sure thing, but if you are gonna be a smart ass again-"

Chelsea: "You have a bullet with my name, alright alright. Goodnight Y/n."

Y/n: "You too Chelsea. Night."

As Y/n went into the house and up the stairs, he halted after getting a weird feeling in his stomach.

Y/n: "Something is gonna happen soon, but what?..."

He shook the thought away and finally entered his and Leone's Room. Where Leone was laying with a sexy black see through nightgown looking towards the door and the bedsheets on her side, creating an open spot next to her.

Leone: "I missed you tiger. I was craving cuddles."

Y/n: "Sorry kitty, all good now, you'll get all the affection you need."

Immediately laying next to her and covering the both of them, leone nuzzled her head on his chest.

Leone: "Love you tiger."

Y/n: "Love you too my Lioness."

He began to rub the top of her head which made her purr softly while the both of them drifted of to sleep.
