"You don't really have to go you know that right? I could protect you keep you safe."
I tried to convince them but they weren't having any of it
"You can't protect me from the demon"
They tried to to act brave but Kepler is so small a hiccup would make them jolt so believe me when I tell you they were shaking it was like a tremor. It brakes my heart to see them like this they're always so happy and cheerful but not now their eyes were glassed over hair in their face and then I noticed they were scratching nervously a drop of blood fell to the floor.
"Hey baby no don't do that" I said softly as I grabbed their arms I looked at the clock and it was 11:49 only three minutes had gone by with out a second thought I run into the bedroom and grab my bag out from under the bed I had been preparing for this day for a long time.
"Kepler come here" I said while clearing out the floor I stuck Kepler in the middle of the room with my bag and run to the garage and grab the road salt and make a circle as big as the room would allow it.
"You can't keep it away forever" they said meekly "I'll keep it away as long as I can" I tried to reassure them as I wipe their tears away and hold them close. A timer goes off at midnight my grip tightens as the door busts open
