I watched as one by one girls got called to the front of the room, their respected counterparts names were called, the boys walking up to greet their now partner. One by one each pair left, and soon Mayor Brindle reaches the L names, going in ABC order by last names.
"Chloe Lovington, whose partner is Heath Bradford."
My jaw drops as the girl who bumped into me earlier walks to the front of the room. I briefly consider making a run for it, but decide against it and make my way towards the front of the room. She takes one good look at me before her eyes go wide and she frowns looking away. She steps up to Mayor Brindle and places her hand gently on his arm.
"Mayor Brindle, there must be some mistake, are you sure his name is beside mine, to be paired with me? " She asks him, looking hopeful. Mayor Brindle just shakes his head and looks at her before handing her the paper. I laugh, earning me a look from Chloe, and she glares my way.
"Don't give me that look Princess, I'm none to happy about this either." At that Mayor Brindle shakes his head and frowns.
"I'm sorry Miss. Lovington, but as you can clearly see there is no mistake. The person who typed this up made sure there was a line to connect the girls name with her partners name. Now be on your way, you only have two hours from" he checks his watch. "Ten forty- five to pack before having to return here." He takes the paper before pointing towards the exit.

I quickly leave the room and then I leave the courthouse, handing the Guard my card with my bags tag number. When I see where he grabs my bag from, I see a semi familiar back pack beside it. Damn, even our bags are forced to be paired together. Why did I have to be paired with such a jerk anyhow?! I think to myself, remembering how he ran from me. Grabbing my bag, I fish out my pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Lighting the end of the cigarette, I put it in my mouth and place the pack and lighter back into my bag and go to find my motorcycle. I speed my way back home and quickly go in. Dropping my bag on the ground by my bike after I get out my phone, cigarettes, and lighter and put them in my pocket, then running to my room I grab some suitcases and boxes and begin packing. Soon I have everything I want or need packed. All of my books, CD's, headphones, bluetooth speakers, some DVDS, sketch pad, pencils, color pencils, notebooks, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, paints, paint brushes, canvases, easels, aprons, perfume, makeup, and lotions, and my Batman pillow those are my wants. My clothes, shoes, toothbrush and toothpaste, tampons, shampoo, and body wash, chargers, a carton of cigarettes packs, and a pack of Bic lighters, those are my needs. I had purposely left out my motorcycle and truck keys. I light a cigarette and grab a suitcase in each hand and carry them to my black Chevy Silverado where I throw them into the truck bed. I then grab my bag off the ground and throw it into the cab of my truck. I look sadly at my motorcycle, wishing I could ride it, but I need my truck to transport all my stuff. I go back inside through the side door that connects my house and my garage and begin loading the boxes and one last suitcase into the bed of my truck. I grab my truck keys from where I placed them in my pocket while packing, climb into my truck and start it. I grab my phone from my other pocket and check the time. Thirty minutes until I have to be there. I push the open button for the garage door on my remote, glad I brought two, one for my motorcycle and one for my truck. Pulling out of my garage I head back to the courthouse.
