The poem

13 2 1

There's  a bird in my bath,
What I sight,
I cried out,
As I saw the fright,
It started to sing,
As it cleaned it's wing,
And told me to go away.

There's a bird in my bath,
Go away,
I cried,
Please don't be like yesterday,
It started to peck,
As it cleaned it's neck,
And told me to go away.

There's a bird in my bath,
Not again,
I cried out,
What a pain,
It washed it's beak,
And began to speak,
And told me to go away.

There's a bird in my bath,
Get out,
I cried,
I started,
But it didn't reply,
I wondered why,
As it was my rubber ducky.

I got in the bath,
Hooray,
I cried,
Today's the day,
But out came the birds,
Stating their words,
Can we have a towel?
