I run to the kitchen after seeing Lando's post. I see him eating his breakfast.
He didn't mind to put a shirt on, and he looks like he could use more sleep.
"Lando?" I shyly ask, not wanting to bother him
"What's wrong, angel?" He replies back
The nicknames he's given me make my stomach fill with butterflies, but I often try to look like i don't like them, to see what he can come up with
"That's better than 'cereal'" I say, giggling
"But I was your milk so you were my cereal! We were a perfect match" he smiles. "Now, what is it you obviously want to tell me?"
"What do you mean obviously?"
"You can't wait to ask me something and you're just making conversation to figure out how to ask"
I open my mouth to protest, but close it back. He knows me too well. Probably better than I know myself.
I softly go next to him and show him his post. "Who took this? And when?"
He smiles. His smile could light up any room. That would probably save us some money, smiling Lando means less electricity used. "I took it. There's this thing called 'timer' on your phone that-"
"I know what a timer is, babe. But you slept more than I did"
"I was tired after I took that picture, it was a lot of effort not waking you up"
We both laugh at that statement, knowing nothing really wakes me up.
"Enjoy your breakfast, I'm going to see Ruth, she was overly excited so I'm scared." I kiss him and leave the house.
