Chapter 16

Kathy's P.O.V

Today is the first day of school. Me, Chelsea, and Nash all walked together.

Once we entered school we saw Chelsea's and Nash's friends (Popular) with the girls they were with yesterday.

"Hey" said Chelsea as she walked into the group. One of the girls looked back to me and Nash then her eyes widened.

She walked up to us. "hi" she said as she walked in between us pushing me to the side. "Hey" said Nash

"I like your eyes" she said

"Thanks" he said

"Im Lily" she said

"And im Nash"

They both smiled at each other. I let go of Nash"s hand and ran to the girls bathroom. He didn't even come to get me.

I cried and cried. "Kathy!" "What's wrong?" Said Chelsea as she hurried up to me.

"You were right. That girl IS trying to steal Nash from me." I said as I looked down

"Dont worry, Nash wont-"

"I think he likes her" I cut her off

"WHAT!" She practically yelled

"They were all smiling at each other and it was weird. He kept looking at her" I said as I looked in the mirror

"What did she say" said Chelsea

"She said she likes his eyes" I said

"Kathy, your eyes are more bluer then his" she laughed

I laughed to. "I wouldn't blame him, she's prettier than me" I said

"No she's not" she disagreed

"Why do you say that?" I asked

"You have crystal blue eyes that look amazing!, you have long light brown hair, AND you have a perfect shape body which is good cause you surf" she said

"She surfs too" I said

"I bet your better" she said. "Come on, lets go. Just ignore Nash" she said. Who knew I would become best friends with my used to be enemy's ex-girlfriend.

We met up with Lucy and headed to first period which we all had together. 2nd period it was me, Chelsea, Nash, and that girl Lily. 3rd period, We were ALL in the same class. Even Chelsea's friends and Lily's sister that is trying to steal Chelsea's friends. For lunch, we went to go get dunking donuts and stuff. We really weren't in the mood for other stuff.

By the time school finished everyone was outside and Nash came up to me..Of course with Lily in the back.

"Kathy, why were you ignoring me today?" He asked

"No reason" I said as Lily grinned at me

"What did I do know" he sighed

"No.thing" I clearly said (It was meant to have that dot)

"Whatever" he shrugged. OH I WAS SO PISSED AT HIM.

"Hey Kathy!" Yelled Dyllon(Popular Jerk)

I looked at him. "Lets go surfing today!" He smirked

"Why" I said with no emotion

"Just so you can compete with Lily and Angela (Lily's sister)

"The whole crew will be there" he grinned

"Fine" I said

"Get ready to have your ass kicked" Yelled Michael (Another popular jerk)

"By who? Them?" I said ponting to Lily and Angela

"Huh?" They echoed

"Ha, good luck with that" I said as I put on my skates.

"You guys are so stupid" said someone from the group. I went home and got ready for the beach.

"Where are you going?" Asked mom

"To the beach" I said

"Ok, make sure you practice right for the competition" she smiled

Once I got to the beach, I looked at the waves when all of a sudden someone yells my name

I made myself to the stupid polular idiots. "Ok so its gonna be Kathy versus Lily AND Angela" said Michael. I heard some of them laugh in the back.

I looked at Nash who was just grinning, then I looked at Chelsea and Lucy, they were over here smiling and giving me thumbs up. I grabbed my surfboard and got into the water with Lily and Angela.

Once the perfect wave was coming, I looked over at the girls and Angela was whispering something to Lily.

They saw the wave coming but I started paddling and it took them 2 seconds to notice I was ahead of them. Jeez there stupid.

They catched up to me but Lily fell so now it was just me and Angela. I cut right in front of her and made a jump causing her to slip of the wave. Water was now over me. I Made the wave, I won the little competition. I competed two people and I won. No surprise, they're kinda dumb...

"Woah" said Dyllon.

"You were saying? Who's ass just got beaten. Oh sorry let me rephrase that. Who's Asses got beaten?" I smiled

"Alright, you won. No surprise though. Nash you got a good girlfriend" said Dyllon

Me and Nash looked at each other for a second. "Oh sorry, Nash if your not with her anymore I'll take her" winked Dyllon

"Your eyes look beautiful when your in front of the water" he winked again

"No you can't have her" said Nash

"Whatever. Anyways, you guys want some drinks? " said Justin (Popular Jerk)

We all nodded and got some drinks.
