Birthday Surprise - BL Fantasy

Birthday Surprise

             Im only beginning to write stories, so please bear with me ;) Any tips are welcome!

This small oneshot is about two of my oryginal characters I have created, Shio and Rey (both guys in case u didnt notice the bl tag ). I hope you will enjoy what I've created.                                         Im working on a main story for all of my characters, a huge project, but there are some details you may wanna know. so some short facts:

Shio is a magical creature, magicaly evolved maned wolf with an ability to transform partly intoo a human (some parts don'f change like ears, tail and his feet)

Rey is a human, adventurous and stupidly curious to a point where he doesn't care if hes in danger or not.

Kevin is a demon-like creature, orygialy comming from a diferent dimension. He planned on escaping it with Shio but something went wrong and hes now in Shio's mind.

                                                         Shio's POV 

               20th of september, a beautifull evening indeed. I sat on a big branch of a tree near my balcony, admiring the weather and nature around me. Everyone seemed quite busy today, especially Rey so I decided to have some alone time. Which I guess wasn't that alone since I had Kevin with me wherever I went, saddly. Surprisingly even he was quiet inside my head. Some peace and quiet after all, even if its lonely, I at least didn't have to listen to Kevin's nagging and comments about everything I did.-ahhh...— I sign, looking up at the tree crowns above me.

—I wonder what Rey is doing- I thought to myself.I could always go find him, but hes probably doing something important, or getting into trouble gathering information about some creature he found.I narrow my eyebrows, thinking about it gives an unpleasant feeling..

Claris is probably on a mission or doing something in her room. In the best case scenario she may be beating Tom's ass for flirting with everything that moves. Personaly would love to see that.Eric is probably helping Hiro gather herbs with his....bug. Still don't know why, from all possible pets he chose a giant beetle. While wondering about what everyone might be doing, I hear a noise, something is getting closer. I would get into a defencive position if not for the huffing I heard right after. 

—hah, Shiooo!—They call my name, already exhausted. I stand up on the branch and look around. Can't see anyone.

—A little lower you fluff- hearing the nickname a smile apears on my face as I look down.

—Hello Rey, what brings you to my branch. Why don't you come up here?— I joke slightly, noticing how tired he already is.

—Reaaally funny, you know I don't jump on trees like you do. Its pointlessly exhausting'

—haha can't believe you are the one talking about pointless exhaustion— I laughed clearly reffering to the last time he was chasing a lizard for an hour, cuz it seemed like a different species. Turned out to be a salamander. I smile coming back to the memory, and reach out my hand to help him get up here. Rey reached for my hand and I pulled him up.

—Here you go-

—Thanks, I still don't know how you do it so effortlessly. I feel like Im about to die.- He smiled at me sweetly.

—Practice pays- I couldn't help smiling back.I brushed off some dust he had on his jacket from trying to get here.

—Anyway, what are you doing here? Don't you remember what day it is? I've been looking for ages for you.— He asked, kinda angry it took him so long to find me. I scratch my ear trying to remember what day it is today. Rey putting a ton of pressure on me with his gaze, I finally remembered.
