Neeks and I ran out of the cabin at full speed, trying to keep up with Percy. I think I ended up Naruto-running at some point. Eventually, all three of us were out of breath and exhausted.
"Percy," Nico panted, in between gasps. "You... cannot... do... that." "What was I SUPPOSED to do?!", he shouted in response. "The two guys who I have been kicking myself for being in love with for WEEKS admit feelings for me. It still feels like a fever dream." "Fever?" I stood up straighter, my Apollonian instincts kicking in. "Simile, Sunshine. Cool it."
He called me Sunshine.
Why am I so happy about that? I'm only used to hearing it from Nico. Whatever this is, I love it. I love him. And it scares the shit out of me not knowing where this is going to go.
