7 Wasted Years - A Tony Perry Fanfic by ptvemmafuentes

Tony POV

I woke up to my phone ringing. I graoned as I grabbed my phone to check the caller ID which was Leah, my girlfriend. I looked at my alarm clock... 7 am god dammit why is she calling me this early?!

I swipped the screen, "Hello Leah.", I said trying not to sound too annoyed.

"Hey babe how are you?" she questioned me with a sad tone

I'm in a band called Pierce The Veil and we've been on tour for the past three months and right now we were in Ohio and Leah was in California. We had another month on the tour still, but I loved every second of it from the fans to being on stage playing guitar, it was just amazing.

"Yeah," I sighed, "why are you calling me at 7 in the morning?" I asked showing more of my annoyance.

"I just miss you Tony. I want you back home," she paused and let a deep breath fill her lungs, "for good."

I knew what she ment, what she wanted for me to do....quit Pierce The Veil. She never understood why I loved music so much she has always wanted me to stop playing since we started dating, but I wouldn't and I pray to god that I'll never have to.

"I want you to quit Pierce The Veil Tony." She said as if she was going to get what she wantex,but since we started dating she haf never said it to me.

"No." I said begining to get angry with her this is my life, my brothers are in this band! I'm not just going to leave them, abandon them.

"Why? All you ever do is tour! You are never home! You are going to quit this band god dammit or so help me god!" she yelled into the phone.

"What?! I was just home three weeks ago, to be with you! And no i will not quit this band! This is what makes me happy and I'm going to keep doing it!" I yelled back will the same intensity.

"No you're not! I don't care what makes you happy Tony! What aboht me and what makes me happy!? I swear Tony you better quit that band or else!" It turned to a full screaming match.

"If you don't care what makes me happy then why should I care what makes you happy Leah! You can't do anything to make me quit!" I said through my gritted teeth.

"It's me or the band Tony." she said simply.

I didn't answer for awhile thinking and thinking. These guys were my brothers Vic, Mike, and Jaime... I loved them all and they were my family. Leah had never gotten along with them and they didn't like her either so I didn't want her on tour.

Leah, I had been with her for seven years since I was 19. I loved her I really did, but latly we were just drifting apart more and more each day. I knew what my choice was....

"The band." I said as a single tear rolled down my cheek.

Leah let out a cold dry laugh,"Fine Tony we're done." she whispered with no emotion before she ended the call.

I wanted to say something to get her back, but I knew I couldn't. Seven years wasted, in this moment I just wanted to die.
