Aphmau Pov

It's been so long since things went to hell, surprised I was able to survive. After everything happended, kawaii~chan, katelyn and I left the city and went to a military quarrentine zone. We never saw what happened to the city, but then again we wouldn't be seeing much for a few years. The military launched radiation sanitization devices, or RSD's, to purify the irradiated land. They woud take years to sanitize, so we waited in bunkers that were deep underground and stretched for miles. We got lucky, we were some of the first ones to arrive, so we got be the first ones to recieve sleeping quarters. As more people arrived however, they had to start turning people away. We didn't hear it, but some of the last few people they let in said the soldiers had to open fire to drive people back.

After a few days we were all assigned duties based on what we could do. Katelyn and I became soldiers, while kawaii~chan became one of the cooks in the bunker. One day when we all had lunch together, we found them, Garroth and dante. when we embraced eachother garroth told us what happened.

Garroth: we heard the sirens, but we thought it was just the Tv. when we found out what really happened we ran drove over as fast as we could.

Dante: By the time we got here there were so many people, we didn't know if we would get in. Then.....

Garroth: Zane......he was behind us a few feet. I heard him screaming my name but, I didn't look back, I didn't want to......

garroth lowered his head to the table and we heard him start to sob.

Dante: The soldiers opened fired when we got in. We never saw zane after that....

I scooted over to garroth and hugged him. He started to cry and held me tight.

Katelyn: What about everyone else? laurence,lucinda.....Aaron?

Dante: Laurence and lucinda were visiting some of there other friends in lucinda's old town. It's bordered by large military base so they could have made it.

"and, and Aaron?"

dante shook his head.

Dante: I have no idea aphmau. He wasn't home when we checked, and I have no idea where he could have gone.

We all look down, we barely had an apetite after that. Then when lunch was over we all left to our roles in the bunker, but every break and day we had off we would meet up hangout.

After about 5 years, we were given the ok to go bck outside again. We weren't the first group out, but when we did leave the bunker to the surface we could see everything had changed. The ground and grass was tan and brown, the buidlings of the base were worn and broken, and while the air was cleaner, some areas couldn't be entered without masks. The thing that shocked us the most was how many people survived out there. When we started to build the base back up on the surface, groups of people would come, sometimes they were friendly and sometimes they weren't. At first The general in charge restricted contact with them for only information, but slowly he softened up and now we openly trade with some groups and even allow people access inside if they join us.

That's where we are now, and honestly, things seem to be getting better.

Hopefully they'll stay that way.
