Hi! My name is Amanda, I just got enrolled in Tickle Middle and I'm in 6th grade. I heard from my older cousins Reese and Kendall they had a school just like theirs for my age!
I couldn't wait for today.
I got dressed and went downstairs to eat.
My mom greeted me,
Hey Amanda! Are you ready for your first day of school?
Yeah Mom!
Breakfast is already ready on the table for you!
Thanks Mom!
Bacon and eggs, my favorite.
I ate my breakfast quickly before brushing my teeth and getting ready.
I looked at my phone, 7:55.
I said goodbye to my mom and headed down to my bus stop.
I waited for a couple minutes then I saw the bus come.
I was excited.
I got on and took my seat.
On the next stop I saw a boy get on.
He came and sat next to me!
I looked at him and instantly blushed.
He looks soo cute.. I thought as I built up the courage to talk to him.
I finally built up enough strength to say hello.
H-hi. I studdered nervously.
Hey. The boy replied back.
I like your shoes, and your toe nails they look pretty. The boy said.
I thought to myself,
He likes my feet??
T-Thanks.. I studdered.
My face was bright red and I was trying to hide that I was blushing.
Eventually I got off the bus and stared talking to the boy for a bit.
Finally, I figured out his name.
My name is Sawyer, what's yours?
I'm Amanda.
You have a pretty name.
It was hard not to blush and soon he caught on.
Eventually it was time to go to class.
I entered my class, math.
I actually like math alot.
I looked at my teachers room name, "Mrs. Harper Math Class A Teacher"
This has to be the one I guess - I thought.
I asked the teacher where to sit and she put me beside Sawyer.

The teacher eventually started talking and I listened in,
Welcome to Tickle Middle students! In your little bags are the signature "Taggles". They go on your shoes at all times. If you have flip flops, Birkenstocks, slides or Crocs pass your shoes to me they have to get a special Taggles.
Taggles? What kind of name is that? I thought.
I took my birkenstocks off and passed it to my new friend and he passed it to the teacher.
I watched as the teacher carved a wire type hole in my brikenstocks and put a weird wiring it it.
Apparently, it's a "Ticaton 2000".
In a few minutes I had my birkenstocks back with the new wiring in them.
Alright class, now, we are going to test the Taggles.
1.. 2.. 3..
I felt a tickling sensation in my foot, I haven't felt anything like that ever before, I slid my foot out of the shoes for a second and thought for a second.
It's going to be a long year.
