Chapter 6 ~ We are always something on the inside

It had past a few days since Eliana's release, Akari was in her room as it was a weekend. A pen in her hand that was tapping her cheek ever so slightly, her left hand keeping her head up and slightly awake along with focused. A sheet of filled with words paper was on her desk, her curtains were being blown a bit into her room by the small breeze that was picked up. 

"AH, I officially have given up on this topic sentence!" 

Akari whined before standing up and pushed her wheel chair backwards as it had hit the opposite wall, looking down at the piece of paper that had laid on her desk, the title was FORGIVENESS pushing the paper off the table and walking out her room as she didn't even notice that the piece of paper had slipped out her window and into the dancing wind.

"3:00 PM alright huh... normally I would be making dinner for both Karma and... his sister..." she muttered and let out a disappointing sigh and closed her eyes wincing in pain a little as she wasn't paying much attention and walked right down her staircase, and fell all the way to the bottom, landing butt first. 

"Ah! F-"

"You clumsy pudding baby!!" 

She knew this voice right away, lifting and turning her head behind her a little as she saw Karma kneeled down behind her and slowly grabbing hold of her small body, then standing up while still having herself in his arms, she squeaked in embarrassment and was slightly blushing. 

"K-Karma!" She finally let out and covered her face, finally Karma put her down and smirked, bitting his lip not so innocently at her. She looked at him before noticing what she was still wearing, a see-through silk shirt that she normally sleeps in and her hair was actually down for once. 

"This is a sight, I don't get often, at least not in the daylight~" He purred into her ear, sending shivers down Akari's spin. Akari just stepped back and hit his chest with her small little fragile fist as she held her fist in pain as she was 100% weaker than him. 

"You might have grown a little bit too~"

"Nii Chan! That's enough now, stop harassing her. You should have told me you didn't tell Yukimura San of our plans. You are such an idiot sometimes."

There she stood, the girl that was called his sister... Eliana Akabane. Her eyes widened as Akari stepped back and looked away, stumbling and almost fell again, but Karma caught her already in time and held her close with a firm grip. 

"Eliana! What is the harm in wanting to surprise my little princess~ go change and then we are going to a restaurant and since the ASShole was going, I just wanted you to come with me to calm me down or I would kill him." He smirked, tilting his head innocently at Akari, she just smiled softly and got upstairs into her room and started to change. Coming out within 3 minutes. She was wearing shorts and a shirt that was black and looked quite fancy without really trying, she went to hold Karma's hand but Karma was in too much of a dream to really react properly. 

- An Hour Later - 

Asano and Akari was just talking in front of the restaurant as Eliana and Karma were walking abnormally slow. 

"Hey Eliana... please give Akari a chance, she is really a good person, I am not just dating her because of her looks but its also for many other reasons, fact is that. She is an angel, she is too nice to everyone... she would always think about everyone else before herself. She is selfless, brave and really... amazing..." 

A crowd had surrounded Akari as she looked at everyone in a shock and slightly scared, she always haven't done well around strangers and when they came in groups like these. She stood back as cameras were flashed everywhere, Asano looked at Akari before grabbing her and pulled her away from the crowd of people but they just followed. 

"Miss Yukimura!"

"We just want a word!" 

"Back off, you fucking strangers." A harsh voice spoke from behind them but then a dangerous glare from in front of them, Karma holding Akari in his arms protectively and covering her eyes and facing her to his chest. "She is mine, none of you can take photos of her without her permission." Karma walked in quickly leaving the people speechless, Asano and Eliana followed. 

"Was he always like that?!" Asano whispered in a slightly hiss, Eliana nodded a little but also shrugged, she didn't know because she wasn't with him for years, never really knew what he was like in front of others, and 100% not with his lover. All of them were finally seated. 

"Baby! You can't be mad at me, I know how you are. You have horrible anxiety when it comes to those types of shit, thats why you shouldn't have been an actress, thats why you are so famous with everyone." Karma huffed in slight jealous, "I would love it for us, just to have you alone to myself. And not have to be careful of people like those creeps!" 

A few students from Class B and Class C that were there just having dinner noticed the four and smirked walking up to them and mockingly smirked at Asano, he glared at them but they just put their heads high up, their hands in their pockets or on their hips. 

"Damn, you are suppose to be our king and you are having dinner with lowlives? How pathetic." One of them had spoken up. Eliana had felt anger fill her mind. 

"Is there a big problem with hanging out with people on the lowest ground?!" Eliana snapped, Akari looked at her and grabbed onto her shirt as she looked at Karma would hate her for putting herself on the spot but Karma noticed and placed his hand onto her thigh signalling her to stand down.

"So you must be the pleasant girlfriend~"

"You-" Asano was cut off by Akari. 

Akari stood up, Karma's hand had slipped off of her thigh as he sighed and looked at the other students with anger filling his eyes as they made her put herself on the line to help them. 

"You idiots. So what if I am a lowlife and complete mean nothing but a waste of space to you." She took a deep breath and felt all the tight emotions that were around the room. "Doesn't give you a high and mightly right to speak to us with that type of manner. Class B, C students should learn how to treat others before messing our lives up." She looked at him and smiled softly, her eyes were filled with bloodlust, the students flinching at the sight and slightly looked away and nodded and bowed before stumbling their way, away from their table.  

"Why would you do that... I never thought you could behave like that Akari." Asano looked at Akari then away ashamed, Akari nodded and sat down as she was shaking a little, Karma placed his hand softly against her thigh again and rubbed it lovingly as his eyes were filled with worry and love. 

"I was looking out for people that mean something... and matter." She muttered softly. 

- An Hour Later - 

They were finished with everything, they got into the car. But then the building started to catch on fire, everyone screaming, running, crying. Akari got out the car and looked around and her blood pressure had risen a little, her heart pounding against her chest as she was shaking. Karma got out and grabbed onto her tightly and smiled before pushing her into the car and ran into the building. 

From afar, a female stood there another building. Looking over at the burning building, her hood had covered her face, a scythe in her hand, the cape was blowing against the wind. The scythe blade was reflecting the moonlight, her necklace was glowing a blue from the moonlight, the only feature that was seen on that female's face was the bloodlust from her eyes that had caused it to glow a little. Then in a flash. She was gone.
