You're not special

After a restless night, the sun finally came up and I sighed, giving up the idea of sleep. I sat up and kicked my feet over the side of the bed, pissed that I didn't get one ounce of sleep. I opened the curtains and looked at the pink and orange sky.

"Babe, close the blinds." I turned around and Billie sat up on her elbow rubbing her eye.

"Oh, sorry." I shut the blinds and sat back down on the bed.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Actually, I couldn't. I don't know why." Yeah I do.

"Aw, I'm sorry baby. If you want you can stay up here, but we're leaving. Diego is gonna watch you while we're gone." I nodded my head, Even though I don't remember who that is. I cuddled into the blanket as Billie got up to go find Diego.

Billie came back into the room talking with Diego. I had managed to sleep hard for a while, I hoped it was for over an hour. "Madison, Diego is here and we're leaving." I got out of bed groggily, and hugged Billie goodbye. She kissed my cheek and I smiled. "Bye Diego." He nodded at her, and then sat on the bed.

"Hey Madison, what do you wanna do?" I thought for a bit.

"Wanna go swimming?"

"Sure." I didn't have a bathing suit and thought I'd borrow Billie's bathing suit. I went into her closet and changed into her bathing suit and cover-up. It was a bit...reavealing, but that was okay because Diego was my family now. Right? I stepped out and he was leaning against the wall. I kicked on some slides and looked at him.

"Okay, I need to go to my room to get some shorts." I nodded and went first. I went to his door and waited for him to catch up. He opened the door and went in, and I followed. I'd never been inside his room, and it looked so cool. There was navy blue graffiti on a gray wall and the rest of the walls were black. Chains and shirts were hung in the wall along with posters. A lush, fur carpet was in the middle of the room under the bed. "Close your eyes." I placed my hands over my eyes and heard the rustling of clothes. "Okay." I uncovered my eyes and he was wearing swim trunks, slides, and a towel around his shoulders. We both went downstairs and towards the pool.

I layed my towel on the chair next to Diego's, took my slides off, and dove into the pool. It was cold and shocked me for a second, but then it was warm. It felt good, because it was a bit windy. Diego used the diving board and cannonballed into the pool. He swam over to me and took a deep breath in.

"This pool is so cool."

"Yeah, I'm glad you asked to go to the pool because nobody uses this that much." We kinda just chilled in the pool and watched the sun rise. It was truly amazing. The pool was an infinite one, the kind you'd see at expensive resorts. It was at the edge of the cliff lived on, and gave a pretty overlook of the mountains and sky.

I was leaning on the ledge next to Diego when he leaned over and kissed me. I don't know what came over me but I kissed him back. His arms wrapped around my waist and I had mine on his shoulders. I melted into his passionate kissed and felt warm even in the cold pool. We stopped kissing to catch our breath and just looked at each other.

"What just...-"

"I don't know." We quickly seperated and looked away from each other. We didn't even spend that much time with each other though. Eventually, I climbed out of the pool and kicked my slides on. I couldn't take being suffocated by the tension anymore. I paused before I left and turned around to Diego.

"Don't tell anyone about this."
