Patrick galvez here.

Most people say, "Finding entertainment is hard."

Well, for me, that is not the case. Sure, finding things to help entertain one's self can be difficult at times. You might not find a new book to read in a library you spent so much time within. You might not find a new song after listening to countless tracks every single day. You might not find something new after trying out all the things that you can do.

Yes, it is hard to find something that will get you entertained, but I think it is a lot harder to keep yourself entertained. You will suddenly get so bored that you forget everything and just sleep your whole day off. This always happens

Most especially if you're alone.

"Oh! Nice set! "

I said happily while typing the same exact words in the chat box. Thankfully, the teammates that I have are all great players, no one's missing when we're clashing with the enemy!

"Pat!"

"Hm?-- Oh, victory!" I exclaimed in glee right as I put down my phone and went straight outside the room. Thank god, the game finished the exact time that I was called!

"Yes, Mi??" I asked my mother who called me from outside the room.

"I'm going to the restaurant, keep guard of the house for now."

"No one's here??" Strange. I swear that everyone was at the living room just a while ago--it's three already!?

It has already been three hours...

"Well, of course you wouldn't notice. With you holing up inside your room and everything," said mom as she walked downstairs.

"Make sure to lock the gate after I leave, okay? Go continue playing your phone at the living room while I'm gone. Don't let strangers in and--"

"Yes, mom. I know already. Have a safe trip." I kissed her cheeks then waved her goodbye as she left.

Then after the silhouette of our car disappeared...

"HOME ALONE!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!"

...all hell broke loose.

"Home alone~what to do~" I hummed in glee as I literally moonwalked as i entered our house.

"Well, first let's play some games." My cousin's not home so I'll just play with his console without permission.

It's not like I'll get caught, right?

"Bulky, as always..." I complained to no one in particular as I tried navigating towards the exity of our room, console in my arms, trying to not break anything too expensive.

"Mission accomplished!" I said as I successfully left the room.

Respect!

"Now then..." Placing the console at the dining table,

"What to play?" I started gaming.

growl...

That was...

My stomach.

"I'm hungry!" I complained as I scuttled towards the kitchen.

"AAAHH!" I screamed as I fell to the ground.

"Damn..." I hit my toe at the blasted dining chair!

"What am I doing with my life?" I asked myself after I recovered then I wenty towards the fridge amd opened it.

After staring at the insides for a good few minutes...

"Yup. Nothing. As always." I forgot to ask for money to buy food!

"This sucks..." I said as I took my wallet which was for some reason, conveniently placed at the dining table.

"That's it," I said as I stood up. It has already been an hour after I finished eating and...

"So boring... I wanna die..." I murmured lifelessly as my body plopped down on top of soft fabric. I can't even think of anything to help me muster the strength to get out of the clutches of the most comfortable apparition in the world called the sofa.

"Can someone... Help..." I said as I fell straight into dreamland.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!" I screamed as I ran away from a bear that suddenly appeared from who-knows-where.

You've got to be kidding me! In the first place, there aren't even any bears in the Philipppines for God's sake! Why in the world would one pop up from literally nowhere!?

I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die--

"Pat, can you give me some paper--"

"Ah!" I almost shouted as I stood up on my seat, gathering the attention of everyone inside the classroom...

Wait, classroom??

"Pat?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"Can I have a piece of paper?"

"Oh, okay." I said as I slowly sat down, not minding everyone's stared and nonchalantly tore a sheet of paper from my pad then gave it to my seatmate.

"Pat, paper please."

"Here."

"Pat."

"Here--"

"Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat." "Pat."

What the hell.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" I screamed as I sat up the sofa.

"It was a dream..." Thank god... I thought I would die.

Seriously, that dream was so scary--.

"Pat."

"AAAAHHHH!!!!" I screamed and gave a look of terror towards... A bear.

"Can I have some paper?"

"NOOOO!!!" I exclaimed while mustering every ounce of strength within my body as I ran out of the house.

"What the hell!!!" I shouted when I saw the scenery outside. why in the world is there a forest right in front of our house!?

"Pat."

"AAAHHHH!!!" Forget it! My life comes first!!

I sprinted sprinted in full speed, dead set on running away from the bear.

So focused that I didn't notice the wide, gaping hole right in front of the gate.

"AAAAAAA...."

"...AAAHHH--huh?" I said in bewilderment before I sat up and looked around.

"It's just a dream," I said in relief.

I pinched my arm, just to make sure.

That was... A terrible dream, in many ways. Wait, that time is it--It's already six!?

"What a waste of free time..." God, I shouldn't have stayed up late yesterday...

It was already three o'clock in the morning when I slept so it shouldn't be saying yesterday, huh?

"I'm hungry again," I said as I made my way towards the kitchen.

"Welcome home..."

"Help me with this," Mom said while giving me the plastic bags full of food from the restaurant.

"What did you do for the whole day?"

"I ran away from a bear."

"That's nice--what?"
