Once in a Lifetime

Her name

"My name is Ji Eun. Lee Ji Eun."

"Annyeong Lee Ji Eun-shi. I'm Kim TaeYeon."

The two women shook their hands and bowed to each other. Taeyeon doesn't know but she is already comfortable with the girl considering the fact that they just met. Kim Taeyeon is not your typical socialistic person. She's an introvert and as much as possible, she avoids any interaction with new people. So its a whole new surprise.

"I'm sure if the brats knew, they will be shocked as hell. Or maybe they will laugh at me." - Taeyeon thought.

The two decided to just skip their own classes the whole day. Taeyeon informed her parents about Ji Eun and they are gladly to help the girl. The girls then went to Ji Eun's ex-boyfriend's house to get her other stuffs like clothes, school stuffs and etc. Luckily, her ex-boyfriend didn't go home at that time. That's why they had peace while packing her stuffs.

When they're done, they move all of Ji Eun's stuffs at Taeyeon's house. They also ate lunch together. Taeyeon cook some western food and Ji Eun wouldn't stop praising her on how good her cookings.

"Seriously, Ms. Kim. This are all great! How did you learn to cook?" The girl once again, praised Taeyeon.

"Seriously, Ms. Lee. It's not a big deal. And I learned cooking from my mom."

"So, you're taking arts?" Ji Eun asked the blonde who seems busy with her food.

"Yep. How did you know?" The blonde said after chewing down her food.

"She's so attractive." - Ji Eun thought.

"You're so popular in school, Ms. Kim. At first I'm confused who's Kim TaeYeon and how does she looks like. But when I saw you in the exhibit last year, I was mesmerized 'cause you're stunningly beautiful!" Ji Eun said excitedly. Not aware of her cheerful tone.

"You literally rock the exhibit, you know that?! You were so cool! Your paintings are so beautiful! No wonder why they got sold triple the price you planned to sell them." The woman can't stop her excitement, telling how much she fangirl the blonde. Taeyeon on the other hand is smiling and sometimes laughing at the woman's cheerfulness. She's so charming and cute.

"You just makes me want to protect you at all cost." - Taeyeon thought.

Ji Eun seems to have noticed her cheerfulness and quickly covered her mouth, eyes widen. She bowed at Taeyeon countless times, apologizing for her excitement.

"Its okay, Ms. Lee. You're so fun to be with. Haha" Taeyeon laughed out loud, releasing her ahjumma laugh.

"I've heard about your ahjumma laugh but I never thought that its really adorable." Ji Eun unconsciously said, amazed by Taeyeon's laughter. Soon after that, she also laughed because Taeyeon's laughter is just too contagious. She can't help it so, they laughed together until they have to stop to breathe.

"What are you taking, by the way?" Taeyeon asked after she recovered from the laughter.

"I'm taking Criminology." Ji Eun shyly replied Taeyeon.

"Oh! Officer Lee, please take good care of me." Taeyeon said sincerely smiling to the younger woman. Ji Eun blushed from the statement.

"I'm not even sure if I can graduate next school year, Ms. Kim. I don't even know if I can continue my studies because I left my ex-boyfriend. Like I told you, he provides me everything. Even my school expenses that's why I owe him a lot." The younger girl sadly stated. She hang her head low embarrassed to her situation. She's so poor.

"What are you saying? I didn't just made you live here to have your home. I will take care of everything. I will help you and I will provide all that you need. I just can't let you go back to that bastard because you don't deserve those kind of treatment. You deserve more." Taeyeon gently but firmly said. She's so determined not to let that jerk come closer to Ji Eun anymore. She will protect her like her younger sister.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me out of all people?" She can feel her tears are rushing to come out because of overwhelmed.

"Because you're my sister now. And I can see the determination in your eyes. I know you can do it. You will be successful in the near future. You just need help at this moment and I am so willing to take this opportunity to help you." Taeyeon wiped the tears from the latter's cheeks.

"You are so kind, Ms. Kim. I can't see that badass, jerk and snob attitude they're saying you have. All I can see is pure kindness, sincerity and loving woman. And I'm so lucky to see this side of yours that not everyone knows."

"I know. Not all gossips are true." Taeyeon smiled widely showing her chin dimple.

"Ohmygosh! Ms. Kim! You're so cute!" Suddenly, from gloomy, Ji Eun became cheerful again because of Taeyeon's chin dimple. Those adorable chin dimple of the blonde is a rare sight because she seldom smile and laugh at public.

"Now, now. You can't talk to me when you keep on calling me Ms. Kim." The blonde stated sulking at the younger girl.

"Eh? What should I call you then?"

"I don't know. You tell me." Still sulking, she crossed her arms above her chest, she pouted like a 5 years old kid who couldn't get her lollipop.

"Haha! You're so cute, Taeng unnie." Ji Eun pinched her cheeks lightly while laughing at her cuteness.

"Taeng unnie is better." She smiled widely. "Now, what should I call you?" she lightly tap her chin using her forefinger. Ji Eun just can't take it anymore. This woman's cuteness is just too much to handle. She just wants to put her inside her pocket like a cute little key chain.

"Eunie? Jiji? Eueu? Euji? Eume? Ah! U me." Taeyeon is cutely thinking hard for a petname. She's not even aware how cute and adorable she is right now.

"No. That doesn't sounds good. Ah! I know!" She suddenly stood up, startling the woman beside her.

"What is it?" Ji Eun curiously asked. The blonde have so much of surprises under her sleeves.

"IU!" Taeyeon shouted.

"Huh? IU? Why IU?"

"Yep. I just get the I from Ji and U from Eun. And IU means you and I which means, I am the only one who's allowed to call you that." Taeyeon possessively said.

"Haha! Sure, Taeng unnie. You are the only one who can call me IU. Thank you so much again for helping me." IU stood up then she hugged her new found unnie.

"You are most welcome, IU." The blonde hugged her back.

"I'm really comfortable with this girl. I'll protect her and treat her like my younger sister." - Taeyeon thought.

"Have you seen Taeyeon?" Tiffany asked Sunny. She haven't seen the blonde since morning and they're already done eating their lunch. Usually, the blonde will eat with her friends even if she's late or when she skipped her morning class.

"No. She's not attending school today. She texted me that there's something important she needs to do." Sunny replied the anxious looking woman. "Are you okay?" Tiffany just nod for an answer. She's not in the mood, missing that certain annoying blonde's presence.

Tiffany just lifelessly walk to her respected sit and settled down her butt. She sighed. She's so disappointed not to see the annoying woman.

"Where is she? She skip classes? She have an important thing to do? Am I not important to her? She hates me that much huh? Fine! I will not force myself to her!" - Tiffany thought.

The eye smiling girl is not in the mood for the whole day. She's so grumpy and she even shouted at some students. The changes of behavior didn't go unnoticed by Sunny after the latter asked her about the blonde.

"Fishy." - Sunny thought.
